General information:

Cmax-Ceramic Fibre Blanket is ideal thermal insulation material, fire-proof material and sound-absorbing material. Ceramic fiber blanket has even texture and smooth surface. CNBM ceramic fiber blanket is made of high quality alumina-silicate ceramic fiber by using double side needling methods which improve the tensile strength and the flatness of the ceramic fiber blanket. Our ceramic fiber blanket contains no organic binders which guarantee the stability and constructability of the ceramic fiber blanket at both high temperature and low temperature. What’s more, we are main supplier of Morgan .

Advantages:

Cmax ceramic fibre blanket is resistant to most chemicals attack except hydrofluoric phosphoric acid and high pH alkali(na2o or k2o). Its thermal and physical properties can not be affected by oil, steam and water, very good thermal insulating materials.
Heat reflectance
Light weight
Low thermal conductivity
Low heat storage
Flexible
Resilient to thermal stock
High tensile strength
Corrosion resistance
Easy to install
Asbestos free

Application:
Petrochemical process heater refractory fiber lining
Heat treating furnace or intermittent (shuttle) kiln hot face lining
General furnace backup insulation
Heat seals for kiln car or furnace door
Electrical insulator
High temperature acoustic

Refractory Insulating Ceramic Fiber Blanket STD

Q:HVAC Experts - I need some help?
Yes it will cut down the draft but for 200 bucks Id invest my money in something elseYou could simply use regular insulation on the stairs for the pull down attic doorI would invent my money on two things a power roof vent and a digital programmable thermostatWith the power roof vent or also called an attic fan this will suck the heat out of the roofAnd in turn the AC system will preform better when its hot outI ve put three of these fans in2 in 6,000 square foot house where the ac for the upstairs would never shut off on a hot dayNow they cycle like normal1 in a house that about 1900 square feet and the home owner has a 18ft vaulted ceiling in there living room and complained that that room was hotWe had already installed an extra dedicated return in that roomAnd then installed the power roof vent we say a 9 degree temp diff in that room and a 4 degree drop in the bedroomsJust something you might look intoBear in mind that the power roof vent needs electric and its thermostatic controlledBut the cost is so low that the investment pays for itself by the second year.
Q:Like Microsoft BlanketsBlankets with micro soft fibers.Blatantly avoid any words where microsoft may be involved like technology.
It will work but make sure you grease the foil with butterParchment paper is better, but this will work too.
Q:eat healthy what can i do
thye are not good to eat, id advise you not to.
Q:Who can tell me what the ceramic fiber density is?
Refractory ceramic fiber material, a kind of light and efficient thermal insulation material, owns the following advantages compared with traditional thermal insulating material: Ceramic fiber lining has low volume density. It is over 75%lighter than the light weight insulating brick, and 90%-95% lighter than the light weight castable lining. If fiber lining is used, the steel structure load of furnaces can be greatly reduced and its service life will be prolonged. Ceramic fiber lining has low thermal capacity which is only about l/10 of that of the light weight and heat resistant lining and light weight castable lining. The thermal capacity of the lining material is proportional to its mass. Low thermal capacity means that furnaces absorb less heat in the reciprocating operation, meanwhile accelerate its temperature rise, greatly reducing energy consumption during the operation and control of the furnace temperature, and particularly making the starting-up and blowing-out of heating furnaces obtain remarkable energy conservation effect. Ceramic fiber lining has low thermal conductivity. When the average temperature is 400℃, its thermal conductivity coefficient is less than 0.1w/mk; when the average temperature is 600℃, its thermal conductivity coefficient is less than 0.15w/mk; when it is 1000℃, the thermal conductivity coefficient is less than 0.25w/mk, which is around l/8 of that of the light clay brick and l/10 of that of the lightweight and heat resistant lining, achieving excellent thermal insulation effect. Ceramic fiber lining has easy construction. Expansion joints are not needed during the construction process, construction personnel can take up work right after basic training, and the construction technical factors have little impact on the lining’s thermal insulation performance.

Q:i'm using a hair iron ceramic, and i only use shampoo and conditioner does it damage my hair and get me bald ?
Hello Prince of Madness : -A space between two surfaces at different temperatures will have a natural convection circulation establishedThe fluid between the two surfaces will rise at hot surface and move downward at the cold surfaceThe fluid with such natural or free convection takes heat from hot surface to the cold surfacePutting insulation between the two surfaces prevents the natural or free convection from getting establishedWith the insulation in place, heat transfer is by conduction through a material with a very low thermal conductivityFor conduction: Qdot ( k ) ( A ) ( T1 - T2 ) / ( L ) Adding more insulation increases L for above equation, thus reducing Qdot, the heat transfer rate from surface 1 at T1 to surface 2 at T2 .
Q:Should I insulate the roof of the attic? I live in Mass, and the attic is already cold up there, but I have not noticed any cold drafts yet in the living spaceI looked it up online, and I have not found anything specific that tells me I should insulate this areaI just bought the house and this will be the first winter for me in it.
Insulation only works when there is a source for heat or coldnessIn other words you could insulated between your roof rafters in your attic, but there is no heat source in your attic so it would not do any goodThe only thing it would do is slow down the time it takes for your attic to absorb heat through the shingles, the same in cold weather- but once this short delay is over it would be just as cold/hot in your attic as it was outsideLets say you build a shed outside 10' x10' and insulate it allThe next morning if it's 10 below outside, your shed is 10 below inside alsoNow if you put an electric heater out in the shed, that is differentThe insulation would hold most of the heat inside the shed, you will loose some because insulation cannot stop heat/cold escape 100 percent, it just makes it more difficult for heat/cold to escape.
Q:Where do I find R49 insulation for my roof/ceilingI also need R 18 for walls and R25 floorsCan I purchase insulation for the exact R value I needI see a lot of insulation that say R19, R30 and the likeHow do you get up the the R value that is required.Thank you
Tea, scrambled eggs and sausage
Q:I have a polyester blanket and I was wondering if the polyester fibers have a similar affect to asbestos if inhaled.
Pick something else thenYou can usually find fresh and dry cannoli tubes at your local supermarket chainyou certainly can't use foil!!
