General information:

Cmax-Ceramic Fibre Blanket is ideal thermal insulation material, fire-proof material and sound-absorbing material. Ceramic fiber blanket has even texture and smooth surface. CNBM ceramic fiber blanket is made of high quality alumina-silicate ceramic fiber by using double side needling methods which improve the tensile strength and the flatness of the ceramic fiber blanket. Our ceramic fiber blanket contains no organic binders which guarantee the stability and constructability of the ceramic fiber blanket at both high temperature and low temperature. What’s more, we are main supplier of Morgan .

Advantages:

Cmax ceramic fibre blanket is resistant to most chemicals attack except hydrofluoric phosphoric acid and high pH alkali(na2o or k2o). Its thermal and physical properties can not be affected by oil, steam and water, very good thermal insulating materials.
Heat reflectance
Light weight
Low thermal conductivity
Low heat storage
Flexible
Resilient to thermal stock
High tensile strength
Corrosion resistance
Easy to install
Asbestos free

Application:
Petrochemical process heater refractory fiber lining
Heat treating furnace or intermittent (shuttle) kiln hot face lining
General furnace backup insulation
Heat seals for kiln car or furnace door

Q:It is 23 degrees here now in IndianaThermostat set at 68It kicks on about every 7 minutesI know my roof needs insulationBut is this bad? How often would be a reasonable amount of time for the furnace to kick back on?
The heater is working over-time to maintain the 68 degreesWhat happens to the heat when the heater shuts off? It escapes through the walls, windows and ceilingIt is like filling a ballon that has a pin hole in itYour lungs will have to kick on every time the air escapes through the pin hole same with the heater Here is a test for you when it gets warmer outsideTurn the heater on when the temperature outside is 68 then set the thermostat to 68The heater will not kick on and off as often or at allIt doesn't have too In the short term cover your windows with see through plastic to keep out draftsHere is a good article on how to do it.
Q:I am trying to find someone that can date fabric from the 1920quot;s
Some of the places that sell material have sheets of steel siding that they discount the price because of irregular lengths and colorsYou can save some thereAlso instead of a steel structure you can go with wood.
Q:anyone know how to keep moths from destoying a wool coat and several wool sweatersi can't put them in moth balls but don't know of anything elselast year i lost three sweaters and they were wrapped in plastic bags in my closet.thanks.
Step1 Examine and repair your wool items before cleaning and storing themWith proper care, wool can be durable and long lasting fiber Step2 Clean your wool blankets and wool fabrics according to the directions on the labels before storing themPerspiration and food stains attract mothsBrushing your wool with a fabric brush can loosen moth eggs, but dry cleaning and laundering will kill the eggs and larvaeYou can also throw your wool into the freezer for a while to kill eggs and larvae before storage Step3 Store your wool items in airtight bags or plastic containers with lids that fit tightlyStoring them with tissue paper between the folds helps prevent wrinklingA cedar chest is a good storage area for wool fabrics, but cedar loses its smell after a few yearsA light sanding on the inside of the chest may restore it Step4 Use caution if you use mothballs or moth crystalsThey contain naphthalene, which may be harmful to children and petsAvoid placing them directly on your wool fabric and remember that the smell is difficult to get rid of even after a good airing out Step5 Check your wool occasionally to make sure you don't have a moth or moisture problemThe sooner you spot a potential problem, the easier it is to correct it and prevent damage
Q:Okay my mom has a fender jaguar that belonged to her dadShe doesn't play it and keeps it in a hard case in the atticI read that keeping an electric guitar in the heat or cold could damage itThe attic has no insulation so I was wondering if it would be a better idea to store it somewhere elseAny suggestions? Thanks.
Stick a piece of thin/light rolled up cloth in it.
Q:We have 2 car garage door that has no insulationWould it be better to buy a new insulated door Or insulate the door we already have? Which way is more economical?
decaf coffee is a great low calorie fluid when you re having cravings and a great source of antioxidants
Q:I have a 3 story 1860's house with an attic/crawl space above the third floor tucked under the steep roof lineThe HVAC guy suggested installing the furnace in this space above the 3rd floor and running ducts down into the 3rd floor roomsIn terms of maximizing efficiency, will it be best to insulate the floor between the 3rd story and the attic, as well as the duct work, or should I also insulate the roof line? I am worried that insulating both the floor and the roof line will cause problems with ventilation and/or trap too much hot air in that space and cause other problemsThanks.
Do you know a Realtor that you can ask to look at the house? Is you do, I would ask them for adviceThey are actually very good at determining which projects can't wait and which will do the most goodPersonally, I put landscaping at the BOTTOM of the priority listI would have to see the home to rank the other projects, but replacing single pane windows would be near the top.
Q:i am small textile export company in pakistan since 2003.my company is based on textile items like yarn, cotton fabrics ,kitchen tea towels, bed sheet sets.as a local trading with capital of us$20,000 .so far i didn't make good business in last 7 years .now i am going to be green card holder in next 4 months.what and how i am build good business between Pakistan and USA within my money and products.
Buying stock fabrics and apparel from Pakistan and China and selling in the US could be profitable.
Q:I had a very bad problem with condensation in my attic last winter i got my attic insulated and i put in extra vents as well and it still didn't solve the problemhow can i solve the problem for this winter please help thanks
Are you sure the vents were done correctly? There should be soffit vents running along the eves of the house to let fresh air in to the attic space, and a full-length ridge vent to let air outThe insulation on the attic floor must stop short of the eves, so this airflow isn't obstructedThere must be a vapor barrier between the insulation, and the ceiling of the top living-space floorAlso: check that any bathroom or kitchen vent fans are exhausted outside the house, and not into the attic space or soffits.
Q:I would like to learn how sew and knitt my own clothes or just about anything? ?
Easter egg dye or food coloring and pam? Styrofoam is covered in static electricity and will be prone to sticking together no matter what, pam may work butI know, get a pack of different colored birthday candlesmelt the different colored wax into a small container (like a lid)Wait till it cools and roll it into little ballsThey'll be different colors, they'll float and they won't stick togetherYou can also make them any shape you wantAnd they're CHEAP ;) Oh, and varnish will most likely dissolve the Styrofoam.
