What is the question here? Are you looking to buy a replacement power cable? One of the multi use ones would work fine, set it for 9 volts. The other important part is the current rating (amps or mA). What does the DVD player say it needs? Make sure the new power cord can supply at least that much. Voltage: try 9 first, if not work then try 10 or 11 or 12. No higher than 12. Current: the same number or higher than listed on the player.
Q:I recently bought a Mackie CFX20 MKII and it came with a European 2 pin power cable but I need a UK 3 pin power cable.On the plug end of the cable it says (16A 250V~) but on the connector end of the same cable it says (10A 250V~) I have no idea what cable I need to buy for this so an answer to what I need or a link to what I need would be great.Thanks.
Look at the mixer itself and see what voltage it says on it, If it states 250V then you cannot use it in the USA as the voltage there is 110V.
Q:I am doing a test if the power supply.Can you have the computer on and plugged in with PSU out in the open, leave on the carpet ?Can you have the power cable plugged into the psu first and then try to plug in the psu cable into the mother board. Would this electrocute you? if you accidentally knocked over liquid onto the power supply while the computer is running and you touched the motherboard at the same time while you are perfectly grounded. Can this electrocute you? unpluging the psu connector while the computer is on?
If you have already pulled the fan off, do so again (without reaching into the power supply. Take a good look at the shaft of the fan. I'll wager there either is, or was, a set screw in that shaft. Most likely you'll need a hex wrench to get that locked back into place. This would also explain the lack of air flow when it is working without making a racket. Good luck. Best regards, Jim

If your talking about the power cables from the power supply to the motherboard those are fairly straight forward. It is a 20 or, 24 pin connector. Usually along the edge opposite the external connections for the motherboard. Although, the placement really depends on the manufacturer and, could even be near the middle of the board. They are keyed and, you can not plug them in incorrectly. As long as you don't force them into the slot. If your speaking of the wires from the case to the motherboard that is a little more difficult. P3 and, P4 motherboards usually have a keyed connection that simply plugs in. Other boards have markings on each of the wires corresponding with it's connection. The one thing that is the same for every board is that the two black wires must be side by side. If you've never done it before you should have labeled each wire and, made a diagram of their placement. Your best hope short of taking your computer to the local shop is to try and, find diagrams for both your motherboard and, the case.
