P = W/Δt, P = Fd/Δt P = Fv Force required to lift the 142 kg object; F = 142 * 9.8 F = 1391.6 N Therefore; P = Fv 500 = 1391.6*v v = 0.359 m/s So velocity of the crane is 0.359 m/s. Is that right?
