FAQ
1. For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?
—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.
3. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.
- Q: We laid tile in our shower and I used too much grout. Now I need to know how to get the grout lines even without damaging the tile. Any help would be appreciated.
- Kudos to William After installing multiple thousands of sq. ft. of tile, and hundreds of gallons of grout, I so want to not offend you; but the WIPE process probably should have been more resolute on your part. Grout is Mortar/Cement essentially, and when doing tile grouting; the sponging might often be considered as a 3 stage process. Barely moist immediately after application; then as the grout sets, the sponging can increase in how wet you work it. The final result is often just DUST that can easily be wiped away. The issue should have been easy to relate to; as most tile has compressed edges; designed to allow wiping, but not strictly grouting flush with the tile face. In your case, and again; no offense; it seems it's beyond those stages. I guess I'm also curious as to the type of sponge you used. Knowledge is something we so often gain AFTER we NEED it. Certainly you'll have to use abrasives, and possibly a rounded paint knife blade or dinner knife. Nylon/woven scrubbers will likely be ineffective. With care; and if the tile is decent; scraping at the grout shouldn't scratch the tile; to any extreme. The deeper truth however; is that it may never look as it should; and almost as if the grout is squeezed out or bleeding onto the tile face. I do wish you well. Steven Wolf
- Q: Does any one know of a website or place Greenville, NC that would sell cheap bathroom tiles? We are rebuilding our bathroom and Lowe‘s and Home Depot both have outrageous prices? Thanks in advance!
- check with any tile installer he may have some left over from a big job
- Q: My bathroom size is 7 ‘*11 ‘. If I want to use 20*20 tiles, will it look good? I want to use bigger tiles because I don‘t like grouts. Can we put anything to make the tile not so slippy?
- 12x12 or 12x18 or 20x20 all these sizes look good.
- Q: I was told by one guy at Menards to use a 1/4 teeth trowel for 6-1/2‘‘ x 1/4‘‘ floor tiles. I am worried this will be too much glue and will ooze out the 3/16‘‘ gaps between tiles. then it will be a nightmare mess, and can‘t grout. Also do you just lay the tiles on the glue? or press down ?how much?Thank you very much
- Coverage is the most important thing you need.. Although I d NEVER use a mastic on a floor because it s much more expensive I ve always used a thinset (cement based) adhesive.. When setting a tile gently push the tile into the glue w/ a twisting / turning motion.. This sets the tile into the adhesive better.Occasionally lift a tile up by carefully prying up on it and check the coverage on the backing..You ll want approx. an 80% coverage.. A 1/4 x1/4 size trowel will work but by personal choice I ll use a 1/4 x 3/8 deep trowel if it s a hard bodied tile . For a soft bodied tile ( usually have lugs or teats for spacing on the edge ) I ll then put them together and use a 1/4 x 1/4 trowel. Use the RIGHT type of grout for the type of tile your using.. If you are using a mastic I d wash or clean out the grout joint since grouts won t properly bond to a mastic like they will to a cement type adhesive.. GL

- One of the top ten brands of tiles: gold platinum Riley tiles ????Gold Platinum Rally Gambarelli Group has been committed to product development, has been three international patents: Double Face (double face), Oxygena (atmospheric purification brick), MetalStone (metal brick). These three patents represent the Gambarelli Group in product technology research and development achieved important results, its leading other brands of products in the frost resistance is also a good embodiment of high-tech technology. - Q: If so, what do you clean it with? I have one in my kitchen I hate it! I‘m always cleaning it and we don‘t even wear shoes in the house but yet it always looks like it has blackheads! I have used the magic eraser to get the marks off but it‘s a p.i.t.a. :)
- It’s a pain but a stiff scrub brush with hot water and a small amount of soap will get the dirt out. The problem is that you have to do it every week because the groves collect dirt. But don’t use too much soap because when you use the scrub brush you will end up with too many bubbles!
- Q: help!! i need an estimate of ANY italian tile... like the cost per sq. ft. i really need it for a project!!! please make sure the tile works for the entire house (only inside) and light colored nothing dark plz and thank you =]
- hallo? .. u're asking for help, but not giving specific information. tiles are different range from price, quality, and size -even its italian tile ... how to calculate? we need to get down to your floor plan, and choosen of tiles, my dear ...
- Q: Have a tiled half wall that I dont like, and as I neither know how to remove tiles or if how to drill through a tile can anyone help?
- A bit for drilling concrete works well , also they make a spade bit that can be used for tile or glass, If it is a thick tile i would use a bit and a drill with the sds chuck as it won't slip. You can get the bits at Home Depot of just about any hardware/lumber supply store. the drill with the sds chuck can be rented if you do not have one.this is if you are trying to anchor something into the tiled wall. If you want to remove the tile, you are better to pull the tile and drywall off at the same time , if you try removing the tile alone it will damage the drywall and you'll have to float the whole thing or remove it anyway. Good Luck !
- Q: I just finished grouting my tile yesterday I want to remove the haze with vinager should I let the grout cure for three days, then seal it and then scrub the whole floor including going over the grout lines (which would be then sealed) scrubbing with a sponge and avoiding the non cured grout is working but is taking far too long
- Know what works best? Don't use any moisture at all to remove haze--You'll have to do it 2 or 3 times to totally remove the haze. Let the haze dry on the tile, then polish it off with a dry soft terry cloth--It may create a little dust in the air, but it works really well. Also, wait about a month or so before sealing your grout lines.
