1. For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?
—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

5. How to choose bathroom tiles? Porcelain tiles or glazed tiles?
Currently used in the bathroom tiles with glazed tiles (mainly from price considerations, some high-end can choose tiles, notice to choose tiles), divided into Shinny and Matt two kinds.
- Q:I‘m installing new tile in my bathroom and had a few questions.1. I understand that I‘m supposed to remove the toilet prior to laying the tile. So I remove the toilet, lay new tile, and then put the toilet on top of the tile? Does this mean that the toilet will sit on the tile? If so, won‘t there be a very little gap where the tile and toilet meet? Are you supposed to seal this gap? Or, do you cut the tile around the shape of the bottom of the toilet and tile around it?2. Same question with the vanity. I‘m replacing my old vanity. Do I have to remove the old vanity, lay tile in the whole area where the old vanity was, and then install the new vanity on top of the tile? Again, what about the small gap? Does it need to be sealed? What do you seal it with?3. How do you remove the old vanity? Do you simply disconnect the plumbing, remove the screws holding it to the wall, and pry it from the wall?Any comments, suggestions, or advice are appreciated.
- As far as the toilet, remove the toilet and tile as close to the flange as possible. You will need to make a few cuts in your tile. When it is time to reinstall the toilet use two wax rings one with the plastic flange and one without. When you are done but a small bead of caulk around the base of the toilet and tile. As for your vanity, you can do it either way. You can install it first and then after tiling install a small shoe molding around the base. If you tile first you will still need a shoe molding. In the bath, it is a good idea to caulk all the baseboards and around cabinets so in the event you ever get water on the floor it doesn't seep under the floor.

- I would use ceramic tile. It comes in a variety of sizes and colors and is relatively easy to put up. It is also very easy to clean. If you haven't tiled a lot before, get self spacing tiles. Then you do not need to mess around with tile spacers. This will speed up your job. Also, if you have never tiled before, check with your local hardware store. Some places like Home Depot and Lowe's will offer free tiling classes. HTH!
- Q:we had our bathroom redone, it looks great but the guy that did it got some grout on one of the decorative tiles, where it shouldn‘t be. Is there a way to get the grout off ?
- First if your unhappy the tile man should be called to do this. But if you feel you can do it yourself there are a couple ways to do it. If it happens to be a raised or relief style deco use a pc of wood. A small dowel sharpened to a dull point can be used to gently dig out the grout. If its a flat deco tile, scrape off excess with a flat pc of wood or plastic. Never use metal since it can leave a permanent mark on tiles. Fine hazes you can start with a dry rag and work up to a white nylon pad scrub with. When doing a rag or nylon pad do this dry, no water. Water helps reintroduce the grout to the tile. - just tear them off and out up some wall paper, if you cannot do that for whatever reason jst put some your fav posters on the wall to cover them up
- Q:i going to tile my whole house both floors bath room and all with the same tile it is a 20x20 tile diagonally where should i start and does it really matter where ?
- Start doing the largest area and do a 1/2 tile on the out side wall. All interior walls are supposed to be layed out to the out side and be square. Now if you have a long visible hall way near by, you may want to split that to get a good look at it from there. Its hard to positively say with out seeing it. I could visualize it then. Since this is a diagonal you cant control to much where the tiles land. If it were a straight lay, you d have a bit more control as to the layout. - Q:The existing ceramic tiles on the floor run up to the cabinets and appliances. Should I lay the floor first and then the cabinets or the cabinets first?
- you would want to lay your tile floor first. your base cabinets are 21inches to the toekick so measure off the wall about 18inches do not tile the 18inches saves tile and easier to install cabinets if you have to cut the bottom of the cabinet. as far as your appliances are conserned, tile the fridge to the wall and stove and dishwasher only one tile under it. you wont see past the tile and you put plywood the rest of the way. easier to install your stoves' anti tip into the wood rather than tile. your dishwasher will slide right into place and would be easy to take out if you have to repair it.
- Q:What is the difference between tiles and ceramic tiles?
- The difference between tiles and tiles is mainly due to water absorption. Water absorption is generally less than 0.5% for the tile, more than 10% for the ceramic tiles, between the two for the semi-porcelain. Usually a variety of polished tiles, glazed tiles, most of the sanitary ware is porcelain, water absorption is generally ≤ 0.5%; antique tiles, small tiles (to climb the wall), crystal tiles, wear-resistant tiles, Stoneware tiles, that is, semi-ceramic tile, water absorption 0.5% tiles, ceramic tubes, decorative tile, glass products are generally ceramic, water absorption> 10%. This is the important difference between tiles and ceramics
- Q:for diferent size tiles are there standard grout joint sizes
- There is not set standard but most people use a 1/4 joint and I m assuming your using a tile that uses a sanded grout. I personally like to use a 3/16 joint but this depends on the type of tile. Cheaper tiles are not sized and made as well as a more expensive tile like a porcelain. Then I use a 1/4 joint. Some less experienced people will use a 1/4 because its just a bit easier to work with. - Q:we‘ve moved into a 1930s flat with those old bakelite tiles, i think they‘re caller marley tiles. does anyone know a good way to get paint off them, and how to get them looking shiney and new again.cheers!
- The one thing you do not want to do is use any harsh or abrasive cleanser on them. If they are real bakelite then they can lose their gloss and can be ruined. First try a bit of liquid laundry soap and warm water on a terry washcloth or small towel and dab or blot it on the spots. As the warm water and soap sit on the paint it will soften enough to scrape off with your fingernail or a popsicle stick. Always try any cleaning on a tile that is not seen readily, like under the sink if available, to insure that the finish does not get damaged. I have never known tiles to be made of bakelite but plastic was used extensively up to the 1970's and it can be cleaned with mineral spirits if necessary. If the soap and water do not work try mineral spirits, (also known as paint thinner and/or turpentine) on a small area of the tiles. You can try the fingernail scraping method first and some of the paint may come off straight away if it is latex and not too thick. If you get all the paint off you can shine them with carnuba wax, but try the wax on a hidden tile to make sure it does not have a reaction with bakelite. Best of luck.
