- Q: Can the paint expire?
- Expired paint can not be used, more than the shelf life of the paint, its composition will change, quality and performance will be greatly reduced.
- Q: Can the powder and black powder be used together?
- Yellow powder and black powder can be used together!
- Q: And when it dries you can paint it whatever colours you want
- Yes, you can paint air-dry clays any color you want, and many of the craft air-dry clays are already white. If the clay itself isn't white, it may be first coated with white paint so that any colored paints used on top later that will show up as their true colors (and brightest version). Special white paints for doing that may be called primers or gesso (in white). Some brands of paint are higher-quality and have more pigment than others, so the cheaper ones may require two coats for best coverage (and some of the cheap reds may bleed even if they're permanent ones). Air-dry clays can be painted with any kind of paint, but the most common might be permanent paints like acrylic paint or latex paint, or even spray paints of all kinds. Non-permanent paints like watercolor paints and tempera/poster paints would need to be sealed (usually with a clear permanent sealer) to keep the colors from running with later exposure to moisture. Common permanent clear sealers are Mod Podge or just any thinned PVA white/craft glue like Elmers Glue All, acrylic mediums, etc, but the toughest will be polyurethanes (from the hardware store).
- Q: Paint construction should pay attention to what?
- Strictly according to the product formula ratio, to avoid bite at the end and cracking
- Q: or just making normal paint
- buy it, then you mix it up to get the colors right, and paint, really simple if you're a begginer, also you can get various effects, by adding water, etc Main article: Acrylic painting techniques Acrylic artist paints may be thinned with water and used as washes in the manner of watercolor paints, but the washes are not re-hydratable once dry. For this reason, acrylics do not lend themselves to color lifting techniques as do gum arabic based watercolor paints. Acrylic paints can be used in high gloss or matte finishes. As with oils, pigment amounts and particle size can alter the paint sheen. Likewise, matting agents can be added to dull the finish. Topcoats or varnishes may also be applied to alter sheen. When dry, acrylic paint is generally non-removable. Water or mild solvents do not re-solubilize it, although isopropyl alcohol can lift some fresh paint films off. Toluene and acetone can remove paint films, but they do not lift paint stains very well and are not selective. The use of a solvent to remove paint will result in removal of all of the paint layers, acrylic gesso, etc. Only a proper, artist-grade acrylic gesso should be used to prime canvas in preparation for painting with acrylic. It is important to avoid adding non-stable or non-archival elements to the gesso upon application. Acrylic will not form a stable paint film if it has been thinned with more than 30% water content. However, the viscosity of acrylic can successfully be reduced by using suitable extenders that maintain the integrity of the paint film. There are retarders to prolong drying and workability time and a flow release to increase color blending ability.
- Q: The difference between exterior paint and exterior paint
- Coated on the surface of the object can form a protective, decorative or special properties (such as insulation, corrosion, signs, etc.) of the solid-state coating of a class of liquid or solid material collectively. Most of the early to vegetable oil as the main raw material, it is known as paint. Now synthetic resin has been replaced by most or all of the vegetable oil, so called paint.
- Q: when painting a wall will the paint dry darker or lighter

- I understand any individual who might love to finger paint my whole frame, however I may not point out his identify. He is aware of who he's. I'm certain he'd paint a moose on me. He'll get it if he reads this.
- Q: Is the paint and the paste the same thing?
- The color paste is not a paint, but a pigment paste, used to paint the paint, that is, one of the components of the paint
- Q: What does paint thinner do? Not for house purposes for canvas oil paintings.
- by paint thinner you are implying for use with oils. it thins oils to a watery consistency you can use it to wash your brushes, although it is not as thorough as turp. basically,,,you can still paint with it, as opposed to turp which is too strong and breaks down the binders.
