Q:I was wondering how to make a simple slip cover for a regular metal folding chair.: For the back of the chair, try a pillowcase on it and see how it fits. What tucks do you have to make? Then try it on the seat. What type cover did you want? A full cover so you don't see the legs? You did not say. I would cut up a sheet, in fact you could use sheets if you do not want to invest in upholstery type fabric. They are washable too. Try a piece on the seat, let it hang to the floor in front, and extend up over the back of the chair until it reaches the floor below. Then you could sew the two backs together till it comes to the seat, stop there. Then you need to sew a piece to each side down to the floor. Then sew up the corners. Hem the bottoms and put a bow or Velcro fastener to the back of the seat corner, or pin it and then sew it, but you have to leave a little room so you can slip it on and off.

Q:I saw on the news this morning that the Majestic High Chairs were recalled. Well the one that I have is the Jungle Fun one. On the box right above where it says Jungle Fun it does say Majestic. Does anyone know if this would mean that it is a part of the recall? I went to the website about the recall and it didn't say. If it is a part of it, would I take it back to Babies R Us? Q:I just got a new chair for my computer, Its the kind that spins.He's terrified of the chair!How can you make a cat stop being scared of a chair?: I'm guessing he(?) saw it spin and maybe thought of it as something predatory. What I'd do is hold your cat closely in your arms, talking in soft tones and petting him/her then walk slowly to the chair, sit down with your cat still in your arms and just hold him for awhile, then let the chair slowly turn back and forth and just keep talking to him, holding him. After awhile he/she will be more curious than scared; then soon after that he/she will be leaving hair all over your chair and you will have to move him/her to use your computer (like I do!) lol. Truly!

For those of you with the EB high chairs, do you like them and which model do you have? Any recommendations? Thanks!: Hi! I have the Eddie Bauer B is for Bear Highchair. It is really nice! I know it's probably not something for people who have little space because it doesn't fold up, but it DOES look really nice! I have had mine now for 3 1/2 years and it has held up wonderfully. It is fairly easy to clean (getting baby food out ofcrevices is difficult no matter which high chair you get) and as long as you don't put the pad in the dryer, you CAN put it in the washer on a gentle setting. (Just was it by itself). The wooden high chairs seem to be the most durable, and even though the tray is plastic, it is well made. I even had a mishap where the high chair fell forward (empty of course) and landed straight onto the tray. I thought for sure I had busted it! Fortunately, it had only unsnapped one of the tray locks out of place, and it went back together without any problems. The ONLY downside I have ever had with it is your baby fits best in it when he/ she sits well on their own first. I have propped my girls up using rolled up kitchen towels on either side, so you CAN do that if you choose to. Well, that and I guess it's not something easy to store after you are done with it. Mine sat in the corner of my kitchen or dining room gathering dust for about a year before our second daughter was born. It will definately hold up for many many years and through multiple children! I highly recommend this high chair! EDIT: The cover says fabric, but it is actually vinyl- so you can just wipe it down after too.
