If you are going to 'dye' your chair fabric, it needs to be exposed to very hot water or the dye won't take. Mold won't form unless the fabric or the chair are not dried all the way through. You can't know that until you have mold in the chair! Besides, hot water will make the fabric shrink. Why don't you find the perfect upholstery fabric and have the chair re-covered. That would work 100%.

The chair would not help. ...in simpler terms, pretty much everything falls at the same speed. Newton's gravitational discoveries and whatnot. You and the chair are falling at the same speed. Kick-jumping off the chair would be like kicking off your shoes mid flight; there would be little to no change in velocity and you would hit the ground at full impact. There is actually proof of this happening on a daily basis. No, people aren't jumping off buildings... think of skateboarders. When they bail midair, they sometimes kick their board away from themselves. They don't suddenly rebound in the opposite direction, they keep traveling through the air... until impact. In fact, think of this - traveling at terminal velocity (the max speed gravity can pull you down as you freefall) and then suddenly stopping, resetting your fall. That's an abrupt stop from ~120mph to 0mph. Your internal organs would be torn and destroyed from the velocity change. The conditions would be like a highspeed car crash if you think about it. Better yet, the 'troll logic' method would be just as bad to your body as it would if you just hit the ground anyway.

Q:I am getting married in September. It is an outdoor wedding in a garden. I have had a couple people suggest to me that I do not even use chairs for guest, only set up a limited amount for the people that are unable to stand. I would estimate we have invited about 200 guests or so but the garden is a very large site so they will have plenty of room. The ceremony should only last about 15-20 minutes, but I am still having doubts about everyone standing. Is it rude to make them stand around?

I would say to have chairs. A lot of women wear heels and you don't want them sinking into the ground. I don't think people would appreciate to have to stand during the ceremony and a lot will probably find it rude. If it were only like 15-20 people i would say they could stand but with 200 or so... i think there are too many to just stand there and be uncomfortable.

Ok I'm sure you've checked already, but I was at Babies R Us this weekend and they had a ton. They even had this adorable soft Dora couch. I would try their website. Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America has a few shops with everything Dora you could imagine, entire bedroom sets with a Dora bed, sheets, wall art, table and chairs, etc.-But if you don't live in Minnesota it may not be an option.

Q:I noticed a lot of baby shower registries have a $400 rocking chair on them. the stores are packed with 500 choices of chairs. So I was wondering how important is it REALLY?Did you/do you really use yours with your new born?

I'm sitting in a rocking chair right now, nursing my baby to sleep while I'm on my laptop. So yes, I really use it all the time. It's not absolutely essential - I could manage without it - but it sure is nice.
