FAQ of TCD4021 Luffing Tower Crane

Q: What is the principal to quote the right tower crane to the client?

A: First, we need to know clients’ requirements. Normally the following information should be clarified by the client: max lifting capacity, height (height under hook), tip load and jib length.

Second, we need to know what the foundation requirement from the client is. (Fixed/undercarriage/ undercarriage with traveling system), mast section type (panel/integrated), power supply source (voltage, ampere and frequency), the distance between the machine and power supply……

Third if there are special needs, we could suggest proposal according to clear data provided by the clients. End-user, as construction machinery buyer, knows the site situation well and should make decision, such as the machinery specification, type…….

Q: What about our tower crane's warranty?

A: Usually there is one-year quality warranty including main electronic parts (not including consumable parts). There are consumable spare parts together with whole machine and normally they are enough for one year.

Q: What is 3 main mechanism of the tower crane?

A: there are trolleying mechanism/ slewing mechanism/ hoisting mechanism.

Q: Can you equip with light on tower crane jib, monitor, remote control and anemometer?

A: Sure. All of these could be provided with extra cost upon the clients’ requirements. But according to general practice, remote control is not suggested because most of the operator feedback operation in the cabin will provide a wide working view.

Q:Tower crane railing height is greater than or equal to meters
1500cm underground enclosure shall not be less than 100com. Thank you
Q:I'm talking about one of the ones where the cabin and the worker is high up in the air. You cant exactly remove a part of the bottom of the cranes structure because it would fall on top of you but you cant remove the cabin because its so high up and what can get up that high to remove it except another crane BUT how did that get built ?Thank you.
A tower crane is usually assembled by a telescopic crane of smaller lifting capacity but greater height and in the case of tower cranes that have risen while constructing very tall skyscrapers, a smaller crane (or derrick) will sometimes be lifted to the roof of the completed tower to dismantle the tower crane afterwards. A self-assembling tower crane lifts itself off the ground using jacks, allowing the next section of the tower to be inserted at ground level.
Q:I've read significance and accordance online. But i can't find a source for defiance, I used epub bud for the other two books but this book isn't on the website. Is there anyway I can read defiance by Shelly Crane online for free?
There both free ebooks actually..that's why there online barnes and nobles has made them free..
Q:If so, what time of year?
I have lived and worked in Lyon and have never seen a crane fly in the built up area of the city, even when they are at their most active, which is in June. There are some that fly about in gardens but in any case they are harmless even though some people are freaked out by the way they fly. It is their grubs, the Leather Jackets, which are hated by gardeners as they are detrimental to lawns.
Q:the title. the battery --- 9.6v 2000Mah INT NIMH Crane Stock Battery. will this fit in an echo 1 crane stock? the desc. said its designed for GG and SRC crane stocks, but may fit in other crane stocks.
yeah, all crane stock battery's are pretty much interchangeable.
Q:Why does the correspondant keep repeating If i am going to be drowned? IF I am going to be drowned -- if I am going to be drowned -- if I am goi
I like Persipho's answer. But I have to disagree on one point. Nature is not hostile. It's indifferent. If you try to swim the English Channel and are able to go 21.5 miles instead of 22 miles you will drown. Nature doesn't care if you go all that distance just to drown, This is the irony. It doesn't matter if you go 10, 15 or 21.5 miles. If you get a cramp you will probably drown. Nature doesn't care. That's what the correspondant means. In the story a bird watches them and is completely indifferent. The indifference of nature is part of the School of Naturalism that Stephen Crane, Jack London and others belonged to.
Q:what is the meaning of the color red in the book The Red Badge of Courage by stephen crane?
Wound while in battle is symbol of bravery, hence the blood stain as proof or evidence.
Q:What did Stephen crane contribute to history?
I think his greatest contribution was The Red Badge of Courage. It was the most ealistic portrayal of a Civil War soldier written at the time; so real, in fact, that veterans swore the had fought alongside him during battle (Crane wasn't even alive during the war).
Q:Hello, i am goin in on Dec 5 to write the millwright C of Q for the 3rd time. On the test there was a question that went something like this The crane is rated 40Ton, with a boom lenght of 40ft and at an angle of 70 deg. The jib is 8ft long on a 10 deg angle. What is the sefe working load. The numbers are not correct but that is how the question is phrased. Please help me with the formula. I cannot find it anywhere.
Normally you would get a chart for that crane and you look up the SWL at the extension and angle you would want to use, but you can calculate this too. Basic formula; mass*distance = newmass*newdistance, in the case you have described you have to take into account that the distance is not the load arm as it is not at a right angle to the force the mass has and therefore you would have to work that out via trigonometry. Any clearer?
Q:when high rise buildings are built a crane is erected to lift iron and cement up. How do they erect these cranes?
Construction cranes are erected on site. They are usually assembled on the ground with small cranes, then lift themselves up. The erection sequence is carefully figured, so minimal other equipment is needed. For conventional cranes that are permanent and thus only assembled once, portable cranes are used to erect them. Still, generally pretty much on the ground. Some have counterbalances that are permanently fixed, others have a rail type mechanism that moves in and out.
