Q:Any Storage systems or anything?: Most likely cause is a stuck lock actuator. This will not allow the lock knob to move up or down. The actuator is riveted to the door, and is basically a solenoid. It is about 6 inches long and about 2 inches around, and has a black rubber insulator over it. Or did when new. And it will have a 2 wire connector plugged into the bottom of it. Try to move the rod that comes out of it upward with some visegrips. If it won't move up or down, that is your problem. Cut the rod with some good sized wire cutters, and open the door. When you replace the actuator, the new rod comes with it and is part of it. Hope this helps
