- Q: I'm new at pressing my mac pigments. I recently bought a bunch of mac pigment samples. I have two of each color with eaxactly 1/4 tsp in each. I read that your supposed to press with 3/4. Is it okay to press with less than 3/4?
- Hi! Yes, definitely. You don't have to have exactly 3/4 tsps for it to work. 3/4 tsp might be the measurement needed to fill an eyeshadow pan, if that's where you're pressing your pigments. But then again, it's up to you if you want to fill the pan or not. You don't actually have to be very scientific about pressing pigments. Basically, keep dropping a few drops of 91% alcohol, mix it, and once it gets to the point that it's the the mixture holds/clumps together (you don't want it to be runny, and you'd know if it's still dry). If you put too much alcohol, you shouldn't worry b/c it dries up anyway. It just makes it hard to shape and press it. That's why the key is to put a few drops of alcohol at a time. There's really no exacty # of drops to # of teaspoons of pigments. I've pressed a LOT of pigments myself, and I don't even measure how much I use. Just be sure that after pressing it (press it firmly!), leave it open to air dry :)

My budget is ?5 and I live in the UK. And I also have one more question. What is the difference between pressed powder and translucent powder? - Q: I pressed a flower once, and it didn't work well, so I wanted to ask this time how to do it properly. I hear that wax paper works well, but since I have none, will plastic wrap work? What other good substitutes are there, about how much weight does a single rose need, and how long should I press it for? Thanks!
- In the past I have just placed in the petals in the pages of a large and heavy book. Close the book and leave the petals in there. The paper helps absorb the moisture and the pressure helps flatten the petals.

- Congress shall make no law....abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press... UPDATE: Sorry, no. The Press is the organization, not the individual reporters. If the school newspaper is staffed by student reporters, but it is the teachers that have ultimate authority over the content, than there is no problem with Teachers limiting what the paper publishes. Just like a regular newspaper. The reporters don't get to decide what gets printed. They cover and write the story, and it is the editors who decide what runs and what doesn't, and if someone higher up in the paper tells the editor that they won't be running a certain story, it doesn't get run. Furthermore, since the student newspaper is in fact a government run operation, it's not really the press.

- Well a hard press just temporarily straightens your hair where as a relaxer permanently straightens it. So since you only got your hair press, your hair is likely to absorb moisture and puff up. So try to avoid water, rain, sweating, humidity(hot weather) and steam from the shower (you have to tie your hair up). But those are all preventative measures and it seems like the damage has already been done. You probably need to run through it again with a flat iron.

- it all depends on how natural or sensative your skin is and how you like you cover up but i will recommend 1. cover girl 2. light tan or an natural nude powder from mac 3. if your skin is kinda bad you might want a foundation HOPE IT HELPS :)

- Q: im 19 6' 175. been stuck on a max bench press of 190. diet is good, been doubling my weight in protein and switchin up my lifting routine. but cant seem to up my bench any advice??
- sometimes improvements take time. For me usually it took a course of a year since i always went in the summers. a few summers ago i was struggling with 135 and last summer i was struggling with 155 and this summer i was doing 185. When i return to the gym this summer im pretty confident ill get at least 200 lbs. Just have some patience because it usually takes time for results to occur. That is probably a max for you at that weight and if does increase it probably won't be by a large number. Just try gaining a few more pounds and then turning that into muscle

- You did not mention if it is a translucent loose pressed powder, or a pressed powder. Now, translucent powder is definitely not a foundation. It is used to set your liquid or creme foundation to help it look more natural. The pressed powder can be used separate (if you have great skin) or it is used on top of foundation to add a little more coverage. If you want a powder foundation that will cover your blemishes without having to use a separate foundation under it. Try a mineral foundation. Though, you will need to apply more to get the desired coverage.

- I have dry skin too and I recently bought Studio Gear's wet/dry dual pressed powder. I've only used it dry but it feels good on my skin and looks natural... not cakey and doesn't dry me out. You can get it at Ulta or look online.
