Q: Are they simply better insulated? Do they use less electricity to warm the same amount of water? I need to replace mine and need to know if it's simply an insulation issue.
You are correctFor traditional water heaters the main difference is the insulationThere are some newer technologies available nowOn demand, Flash or Tankless water heaters only heat water when you need itThere is no energy wasted keeping a large tank of water hot just waiting all day to be useThis is great for low use households or to augment solar thermalIt would be well worth your time to research what your annual electricity use would be.
Q: I am doing a home economics project and need to find food pyramids for a low choleterol diet.high fibre diet.low fat diet.low salt diet.low sugar diet and a gluten-free/coeliac diet.if you know where i can find any of these please tell me.
Aluminum has the same resistivity for all shapes, but RESISTANCE is determined by Area resistivityIt has to do with current flowCurrent has a harder time flowing through a narrower cross section.
Q: I play goalie (for in-line hockey), and the insides of my pads are getting beat up, so far I have been able to repair them by stitching up the holes, however, that will only last for so longIs there any sort of coating I can put on the nylon to make it more durable? I'm trying to think outside the box here to products that may not be intended for that purpose, but could work for it (such as concrete sealant or spray on bed liners for trucks)? The inside of the pads are made of Nylon, the fronts are made of synthetic leather (which is fine for the most part)
might a sunshade made from one hundred% gentle green viscose fade in sunshine very quickly and lose that captivating colour as new? What approximately toughness if it may be left in rain and get moist! might it shrink? thank you lots!
Q: GIRLS; Answer this easy hair question?
At a machine shop! eeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Find a local machine shop in that bright yellow book called The Yellow Pages or you could google i with your cityYou take it them, explain the same thing you said here and they'll give you a quote and you decide whether to get it done or not.
Q: me and my bro were thinkin of settin up a tent in the backyardthe lowest tempthis night is like 53 52but thats at lik 6:00am otherwise its lik in the 50s all nightis that to cold?we might be able to build a firewe've never used the tentso i need lik tips of wat to doso do u think itll be to cold??
maybe you feel as if there is something missingte holes may be holes in your life and the colorless rooms are low points in your life and your trying to reapir them or cover them up and not think about them cause you are afraid of being hurt againi would think back to what is missing in your life, maybe its a parental figure, or a relationship or a pet or anything.
Q: I'm 14 years old and I wanna straighten my own hair- if their is a hair straightener that kids can use then tell me the name of it
Personal advice stay away from dell laptops their junk , go wih a nice hp or a gateway even they last longer and preform better.
Q: how can i get rid of a stomach ace and diarrhea?
That is a good answerThe foil will reflect the sunlight and possibly be cooler than the foam boardsUnless the skin darkening is from other than sunlight it should start start getting lighter within a few daysAn alternative is to apply sun block with high numbers such as 40 or 50Only a very thin film is needed, and only on the body parts that are darkening or peelingLikely some of the darkening is outside exposure a few hours per month, so you need the sun block for these few hours.
Q: What do you think? How has it?
The effects on out daily lives has been profoundBesides the obvious such as the silicon chip and Teflon, the most advances have been industrial applicationsAdvanced metal alloys that are lighter and corrosive resistantFire protection, lighter more thermal resistant insulation, advanced ceramics, and carbon fiberGo into any modern building and hundreds of items from the paint on the walls to the ceramic infused concrete foundations has been effected from NASA sponsored research.
Q: Please, answers should pertain to a metal building meeting the following specifications:30'W X 40'L X 16'HNO INSULATIONlittle or no shadepainted with white paintBuilding is located in east Texas, a hot humid area. So, what is the best combination for reducing interior temps on hot days:(1)turbine roof ventilators and ceiling fans(2)turbine roof ventilators and exhaust fan mounted in the wall(3)regular roof vents and exhaust fan mounted in the wall(4)regular roof vents and ceiling fansIf you can think of another combination THAT DOESN'T INVOLVE AIR CONDITIONING OR INSULATION, please shareThanks:-)
5) Move to Michigan? KiddingDefinitely an exhaust fan mounted in the wall as a starting point Moving the air is the first trick, and without some monster turbine roof ventilators (Think Gramma's Attic in July) you'll still be baking 14' below them.
