Q: I am in the search of a new computer chair since my $20 wooded one is about to die, but I see so many names that say manager, executive, high back, etc...Which one should i choose? Put a fan on the chair to see if it dries. I think maybe the water stain has not dried completely. If that does not work have it clean professionally they may have something they can get the stain out of the fabric.

Any ideas on what I could do to make these chairs look better?: Honey, unfortunately, renting chair covers WAS your cheapest option, depending on what you were looking at. Going out and buying material, no matter WHAT material, is going to be expensive and incredibly time consuming. I don't know what kind of time you have, but considering your wedding is in 5 days, I would either look at their lowest price chair cover or talk to the banquet hall about their options. Another option that I saw at a bridal show that I went to recently was tying a band of tulle around the back of a chair and securing it with a single silk flower (hot glued with a some kind of pin to secure everything) and letting the rest of the tulle hang down kind of like a bow, but without the actual bow. Upon closer examination I could see that it could be replicated rather inexpensively and you could certainly arrange the tulle to cover more of the chair and it would detract from the tackiness of the chair. I just don't think you will be able to do a full on chair cover in this short amount of time. Good luck honey!

Q: I'm trying to earn some brownie points with my wife after making her angry, so I decided to fix her antique rocking chair that belonged to her grandmother. Q: I'm very recently very interested in the old abandoned ski areas. I was wondering if anyone knew of an old area where lifts are still up? or even if the chairs are set on the ground that would be ideal. So what would I need to do to strip off the remaining finish and paint it so that it will look good for a long time?Thanks in advance!: if you are painting it, you do not need to strip it. sand every spot that is worn, spot prime the bare wood, fill all low spots with plastic wood or ready patch, sand when dry, spot prime the patched areas, prime the whole surface of the chair, sand the whole chair with steel wool, wipe it down with a tack cloth to remove all steel hairs, then spray the last coat on with an hvlp sprayer. u may recoat, or clear coat to add protection with out further sanding... i would use an oil base primer and top coat
