Introduction:

The first horizontal biomass boiler in China    Brand:  HUAYUAN

High-end product---Longxiao series A, B, C

Technical features:

By the great effort, HUAYUAN has developed the first biomass boiler without grate. There are three kinds of hot water boilers as following:

Longxiao Series A: blue touchscreen control system, burning any biomass fuel without dark smoke.

Longxiao Series B: colorful touchscreen control system. motor frequency control system. drain the coked fuel in the combustion procession. burning all coked biomass fuel.

Longxiao Series C: large colorful touchscreen control system. intelligent control system, internet control system. drain the coked fuel in the combustion. burning all coked biomass fuel.

Characteristics:

1. Different from tradition vertical boiler, any parts of boiler could be checked and repaired. Even the fire pipes in the boiler could be replaced without boiler disassembled.

2. HUAYUAN adopts world leading patent combustion system. Boilers without grate will need no more grate transporting to solve coked fuel burning problem.

3. High temperature in the hearth could be controlled to make sure that temperature is enough high to do biomass pyrolysis gasification and complete combustion. With specially designed

airflow spraying, tar will not be attached to the hearth after long time combustion and pipes will not be blocked by the attached tar, it will do little effect on the boiler's efficiency after long                 time using, this is what users will neglect. Long-time energy saving is what matters.

4. As store is directly connected to the hearth, many biomass boilers catch fire easily. Applying anti-back fire structure and back-flow prevention device, so that only biomass fuel can be put  into hearth, high temperature airflow can't flow into bunker. We are equipped with safety fire protection device, even when the back-flow  prevention device fails, automatic monitoring feeding system will start to force high temperature into hearth. Boiler will stop working only after cleaning all the fuels.

5. Change the traditional boiler feeding way, decrease the feeding height of bunker, increase the capacity, reduce the labor strength.

6. Traditional biomass boiler only monitor output water temperature, Longxiao series adopts touchscreen control system, clients can monitor the parameters of temperature of input water, output water, smoke, fuels in bunker, combustion in hearth etc. After the change of relevant data, it will timely remind the user of maintenance, so that to allow user to get more information about running status and energy-saving data.

7. First one to apply internet control system in biomass fuel industry, you can monitor the boiler everywhere with internet.

8. Under intelligent control, boiler will automatically operates from start-running-stop-restart. You could be an online boiler operator with high efficiency and 6 safety protection settings.

Q: I have a boiler plus a hot water tank. The pcb on my boiler is bust and I have options:I can replace the pcb for the second time in 6 years at a cost of around ?250, orI can replace the boiler (which is probably not very good and causing the pcb to blow) for a better one and keep the water tank, orI can rip out the whole system, get a combi boiler and also gain some much needed cupboard space. I would love to have a cupboard but will lose water pressure, which at the moment is pretty astounding! Anyone got experience of both these setups? Which would be preferable? Thanks.
although a bit more money, you could replace the boiler with the same (newer model, more efficient) and the hot water cylinder with a pressurised one, that way you will have Amazing hot water pressure still, as it can be installed in loft space as it is fed from cold water mains. combis are good if theirs a large family as you will never be without hot water, the pressure will be reasonable but not as good as pressurised cylinder
Q: What are the conditions for the complete combustion of the boiler?
The oxidation process should have sufficient time and a very high furnace temperature.
Q: I have the timer set to come on 3 times a day. Is the gas supposed to come on in between these times? (I dont wanna make the house explode!) I have never seen a boiler before I came to England. Help?
How Does A Boiler Work
Q: how much is the average price to replace for a new one.. nothing else just a plain boiler???
a lot of variables here,,but to answer your question,,an average new boiler cost around $5000-$7000 installed,,depending on size and difficulty of installation....more than that if a larger home with a very large boiler, over 300,000 btu.......dan
Q: I was thinking about building a outdoor wood boiler. any info on what materials are used. is the firebox made from mild steel ?
I had an atmospheric (non pressurized) boiler for 20 years. Although manufactured (Dahl Stoves), it was all mild steel. 300 gal. outer jacket. When using mild steel 'open' you MUST use a boiler treatment additive to retard corrosion. If you don't do that right away, it won't last 10 years. Any specific things you need info on? Q: I have a Weil-Mclean boiler for my heat and hot water. My showers and tap water is always warm and never hot enough. Boiler runs fine was just serviced a few months ago (oil-fired). I turned up the hot water valve right off the boiler to max. Inside the transformer box there are 3 dials. One says HI, the other LOW and the third says DIFF. The HI and LOW are both set to 160 degrees. DIFF is set at 11. The boiler pressure/temp gauge reads 200 for temp. I've insulated the hot water pipes as far as I can go. How do I get my tap water hotter?
The water should be hot enough with those settings. You have done the obvious insulation work where you can. All that I can think of is that the hot pipes are partly furred up, and restricting the hot water flow. When the hot water only is run, is it hot? Is there a good flow? If poor flow then you can only turn down the cold to get hotter water. Putting in a water softener will eventually clean out the pipes, but it is much quicker to put in new pipes where you can. Good luck!
Q: I have an ancient oiled furnace that the technician that looked at it said it needed a new boiler. here is his verbatim report:Equipment - Weil McLain oil HW boiler with oil w/htrFound stack switch tripped. Reset switch and burner started okay. Observed smoke coming from all seams of boiler and bio-metric draft damper. Removed smoke pipe and found chimeny totally blocked with chimney debris. Cleared out chimney and checked drawer assembly. Found drawer assembly and retention head caked with carbon. Cleaned drawer assembly and retention head. Fired burner and found stack switch cycling on and off. Cleaned stack switch and found multiple leaks in boiler. Explained to customer the danger of dry-frying the boiler. Customer requested an estimate on boiler replacement ASAP.Can someone also explain this report in term a middle-aged woman can understand. Thanks.
The report comes down to everything is caked up, plugged up, dirty, needs cleaning and or replaced. Oil fire systems are ripe to do all the things listed in the report. Anyone of them is bad this one is of major concern to me. Found multiple leaks in boiler Oil fired systems are filthy monsters they are in consent need of cleaning and adjustments. Go with gas if you can. I'd say about 2500.00 to 3000.00 for a good replacement. Explained to customer the danger of dry-frying the boiler have you tried to start the furnace several times without it firing? What that does to a oil furnace is. Everytime you try to fire it up It goes through a cycle of putting more oil into the furnace this causes a build up. When you get a pool of oil the next time it lights ....... the BIG BANG could happen or if it dosent go bang. It will cause a huge fire within the furnace...not a good thing. bet you live up north somewhere or north east PS Weil McLain is a good boiler but everything wears out.
Q: Three settings - Off , water , water / radiators. Off - no heating , no hot water Water - no hot water water / radiators - heating and warm / sometimes hot water. You can actually hear the boiler ' kicking in and out ' when you turn the taps / heating on. All i want is hot water on tap ( usual setting ) and heating when required. which bit is broke / needs looking at ? thanks
talk about confuse the issue, you say the boiler is firing when you turn a tap on ? if so its ok, heating settings do you have a wall stat? if so turn it up, whats your pressure reading ? should be 1-1.5 bars otherwise mail me using simple what works, what doesnt
Q: peerless boiler how to keep water level?
On a steam boiler you can in stall an automatic fill valve works like ballcock in your toilet or check the sight glass every few days Ahot water boiler is filled by itself from street pressure
Q: The pilot light on my boiler has gone out. I read the instructions on how to light it, It tells me that the pressure gauge should be 0.7 minimum, mine is 0.6I’ve pressed in the button and then pressed the ignition button , the pilot light then lights but when I release the light just goes out again.I tried turning of the boiler altogether – the pressure gauge goes up past 1 but when I turn it back on again the pressure just goes back down to 0.6
you are supposed to hold the button down after you light the pilot for a minute then turn the knob to on position now after you did it right and it wont stay lit then you may have to replace the switch i found another switch for mine off of another water heater onside the road that some one threw away put it on mine worked like a charm the pilot light heats the thermal coupling
