Q: Car audio wiring diagram: If you cannot get a wiring diagram for your stereo or car. It's still pretty simple to install a stereo. You basically just gotta color code all the wires. Red sometimes orange is power wire, black is ground, blue is remote the rest are speaker wires. Look for wires that are identical such as light blue light blue with a white stripe, gray dark gray with a white stripe etc.....

Q: Our house ground wire is very long but our live and natural wires are very short. Once there was a surge in our telephone line system and both my Belkin Surge Protectors seemed to have not stopped it. The surge was stopped at my last protector when its sensitive fuse blew (it was a 10 ohm resistor fuse). Is it possible that since the natural wire is shorter than the ground wire the surge wantted to go through my PC and into the natural wire? Or is it just because the 10 ohm resistor fuse was a bit too sensitive or something? (Well it didn't blow up when there was no lightning outside)I'm thinking of making my natural wire longer by extending it so a surge finds the ground wire more attractive, is this advice able?: Check and make sure its grounded properly,if your in a high surge area look into a surge meter from your electricity company.Peace of mind,no need for buying surge protectors and wishing they work.Any lose will be insured by electric company.

Q: On a 1985 Dodge D-250 there are two wires coming off of the starter the thicker off the two goes two the starter the smaller one has been cut up by the battery. I was told the truck was running last week and all they were doing to start it was touching it to the positive post with the other wire but when I do this the starter just clicks. I pulled the starter and had it tested and was told its good and I have power to the cab I.e. lights and all so were does this wire go and what do I need to do to start this thing: the starter has two wires to it. one os from the battery positive and it is a decent sized cable. the other is a smaller wire that comes from the ignition switch really. that little wire is what you need.
