Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearing :
The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall. The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.
The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be used in accordance with application condition.

- Q: I got a new bmx frame, my old one was flatland and looked funny on all my street parts.Anyway, i tried putting my old fork into the new frame, along with everything else to see if it would even fit. When i put in the fork, obviously it fit since its standard 1-1/8. However, once i tried pushing the fork all the way up, the bearings at the bottom wouldn't allow the fork to go any higher, they seem to big for the frame. i took the bearings out and tried the fork alone, the fork fits fine and looks like there is still space for bearings, but much smaller bearings. is there such a thing? smaller bearings? i thought it was all standard.. if there are i will simply go to the bike shop and buy these bearings.
- In the place you put the forks you’ll see cones at the ends of both the holes, perhaps these cones are too big for you bearings. For eg; imperial cones forks to new metric cones forks, Bike companies would probably do this so you can’t mix their bike parts with other bike parts which in resalting you to buy the parts off them. I know it can’t be the bearings because bike bearings are universal and as such make them all the same (rather than crank and rim cone bearings which are a lot bigger and smaller). My verdict is to take of the old cones on you old bike and put them on your new bike.P.S. the threads on your forks might not be long enough anyway
- Q: I want pro bearings that would be kinda cheap and i found these
- Kyle Take off the wheel Look at the bearing, there should be a 4 digit number like 6008 That's your bearing size If there's no number you have to measure the outside and inside diameter with a vernier caliper and plug the size into google to get which bearings you need. But probably standard skateboard bearings most likely.
- Q: 4-ball bearings that i modded myselfhere's the link:
- well i dont know if its a good idea but they look fast :)
- Q: okay...lemme explain...i have an experiment in my criminalistics class on improvised weaponry and I figured, hey, stupid...(that's me) this sounds like a great(dangerous and stupid, with potential for serious bodily harm) idea. Gee, wonder what would happen if I do it?(most likely,PAIN.)how much damag would this cause to a human body? car? building, such as a wood shed(mine)....can this be done? will it destroy my(roommates, cause I sure as hell wont do it to mine!) gun? anyone know how quickly the ball bearings would come out? damage they'd inflict/ etc?any help would be enormously appreciated!
- if you got them the same size as the barrel i imagine they could come out between 100 and 200 mph, probably very similar to an air rifle
- Q: I have a 1990 240sx that has an Sr20det motor. I was driving home one day and about 15 minutes from home my engine started sounding like marbles. When I got home after only 15 minutes of it sounding like that I turned it off and removed the oil pan and there were definitely pieces of rod bearing in it. My question is, after driving for only 15 minutes home, could it have more damage than just the bearings?
- definately. your rods are probably bad or bent pistons may have scored the walls at an angle cuz the rods wernt straight due to the bearings, ect. time for a total rebuild or another engine.
- Q: How do you CHANGE WHEEL BEARINGS on a Suzuki Quad? I can see the outside one (there are two per side) but I am not sure how to remove and reinstall them. Are there special tools needed? What are the steps?THANKS!
- Always okorder / Go to - Tools - Pullers - Bearing Remover Sets
- Q: i have removed the rear wheel and centre cap do i need to remove the drum
- Hello Tony, When you are replacing your wheel bearings, front or rear, you will need to remove the braking assembly, regardless if it has drum or disc brakes. The bearings are either housed in a hub that has the studs machined into it, or they are part of a hub assembly that also has the studs machined into it. Anything between the lug nuts and these bearing housings (hubs) needs to be removed. Good Luck!
- Q: and are fast as hell bearingsgood?
- The quality and condition of the surfaces in which the bearings ride is equally as important. This is where you'll find a lot of the cost of expensive hubs and bottom brackets. A good A grade stainless ball is fine used with machined, ground, and polished races and a very minimum of lubricant... just enough to cover the races and bearings. Putting high end bearings into average races will bring you no benefits other than bragging rights.
- Q: Difference between rubbing bearings and roller element bearings?
- With roller bearings there are small rollers between the moving and non-moving part so that there would theoretically be no friction. Ball bearings work in a similar way.
- Q: Any suggestions? Been lookin around.. found arsenal abec 9s reeeeallly cheep but i cant find them anywhere to see how bad they are if i can get 16 for $10. Secondly my skates are about 4 years old should i get new spacers as well?
- $10 isn't bad for a set of bearings, especially ABEC-9's. However, bearings are overrated. Unless you are a pro, and can utilize any gains you get from top of the line bearings, you can get away with any old style of bearing. I get mine from my neighbor. He is a supplier of industrial bearings. I get them form him for about 25 cents each. I have gotten a bunch for my friends as well. They all say to a man they can't tell the difference. Spacers shouldn't wear out, so unless you have another set of wheels, you shouldn't need more that 8 spacers. I get second and third sets to make wheel changes easier. I play on wood, concrete, and sport court, and can't afford three pairs of skates, so I change wheels for each surface. Have a good one! Steve.
