Q:I'm looking for a bagless upright to clean my one bedroom apartment that is all hardwood floors. I have a stick vac, but I'd like something with attachments to do furniture and between things. I got a few on black friday, but they are all too loud. I don't have any pets, but I do have long hair. Thanks!
You might find a used Dyson, or find one on sale - they are WELL worth the price, and I live in a house that could be a test sight for any home appliance. On the other hand, I have also seen at least one Shark at the recyucle shed per week. Not a good sign.
Q:why are some dogs afraid of vacuum cleaners?
Whenever your questioning something that has to do with an animal, look at it from their point of view. Lets look at it from a small dog's poing of view. Your laying on the carpet, and suddenly, this huuuggggeee towering thing starts rooaarrinng and its just so loud, and you see the dust flying everywhere, and as it moves, it sucks things up, it like eats things alive, and the big bright lights, and its comming at you, and its gunna suck you up, and its oohh soo loundd and its moving toward you....AHH!!!
Q:How efficient are vacuum cleaners in preventing the dust and other dirt that they suck from escaping through the air outlet. I'm using a Khind branded wet and dry vaccum cleaner model VC 3661, priced about USD 60, manufactured in 2004. The type that is shaped like a bucket and has its air outlet facing upwards and a removable, washable cotton bag inside. I notice that it has only two layers (slices) of dark -colored Sponge like material when I remove the air outlet cover. Is that sufficient to prevent dust, dirt and most importantly bacteria from coming out form the cleaner itself. It could be releasing the bacteria and spreading it all over the place.
I have horrible allergies, so cleanliness is very important. The wet dry vac is not worth anything unless you are using it in a shop of some sort. It doesn't filter bacteria, or anything else for that matter. The stores carry vacuum cleaners you can buy allergenic filters for. I would suggest if you are worried about it, go out and buy a cheap vacuum cleaner and get the allergen filters that go with it. The reason I say get a cheap one is because they all release some bacteria in the air. I would also make sure to have an allergen filter in your A/C-Heater also. That will filter the air better and you won't have to worry about it as much. Hope this helps!!!! Reasa
Q:What is the difference between expensive and cheap robotic vacuum cleaners?
The okorder for reviews.
Q:Washing MachinesVacuum CleanersDishwashersDryersElectric IronsHand held hair dryers
I know Maytag was very popular in the 1920s for washing machines. There was still a lot of hand washing with ringers around, but Maytags were becoming more affordable. I'm completely serious here when I say they were run by a gasoline engine. It was mounted under the machine and started with a kick lever. It had to be vented to the outside with flexible exhaust hose. Vacuums have been around since about 1890, but weren't very effective until electricity made them more efficient. Dishwashers became popular in the 1960s, but were so loud you should leave the house for a while, LOL. Hair dryers really took off in a very short time starting in 1972.
Q:My husband has really long, really strong hair. We've killed quite a few vacuum cleaners with his hair (the hair wraps around the spinny thing and inevitably breaks the motor). Because of this, I'm assuming I can't get that kind of vacuum cleaner: stand up vacuum with the spinning brush. What type and/or brand of vacuum should I get?
What ever brand you purchase, take a little responsibility, trim the hair from the roller brush on occasion, with a scissors, and yank it out.
Q:Do you like the way it cleans? Will they work well on tiled floors?
Check okorder ,and check it out.OKorder always has a customer comment section on their products. You can read what other people that have bought them say about them.
Q:anyone know of a car wash that also has vacuum cleaners and such to clean your car out in Winston Salem, N.C.?
Whats wrong with using the one at your home? I use mine to clean my auto interior once a week for 4 o years.
Q:My dog sheds very very bad. The vacuum cleaner I have does a terrible job. If course I would like to have the best for the lowest price. I know Dyson has their pet versions of all of the vacuum cleaners but I am trying to avoid spending $500-$600. Any Ideas?
brush the dog daily, keep your house cooler maybe it will shed less, ask the vet if the dog has a shortage of some vitamine since that can make him shed more. any vac with a rotating brush is better than one thats not, if you own the house take up the carpet and put down laminate floors or ceramic tile. check consumer reports for the vac that works best on pet hair as i dont know that the most expensive is the best but rainbow is the most expensive, however it spits all the dirt into water so no dust comes out the back side at all.
Q:What is the best lightweight vacuum cleaner for use in a home with pets? I am willing to spend up to $300.
Dyson has a model that is great for pet hair, I think it says something about pets in the model name. About any vacuum will work well if you change the bag frequently, and vacuum really often--like daily. Good Luck!
