Q:I have a two piece standard Kenmore vacuum (not an upright vacuum but one of those that the hose attaches to the body). Anyways, I was vacuuming and then all of a sudden the roller quit spinning. I thought maybe some string or some other obstruction was preventing the roller from spinning or perhaps the belt broke. But I took everything apart and found out the motor doesn't spin. I can't even spin it manually. If I remember right shouldn't the motor be able to spin freely? My motor is stuck and won't spin and I can't find any obstruction preventing it from spinning.Any thoughts?And secondly, can you clarify if the motor should spin freely when the vacuum is turned off because I could have sworn that in the past if anything got wrapped around the roller (like string) I could easily unwind it.

you need to invest in a high quality cleaner instead of the $50 dixie cups that you are purchasing at wally's world. I have had an Electrolux for 15 years and it works just as good as they day I bought it. It sounds like the belt on the vacuum is burning.

Only difference I see is the Animal comes with dry powder and spot spray cleaners. The technical specs are the exact same. I'd say save the $50 and get the Full Kit.

Q:Combines the cyclonic suction of a Dyson but utilizes a bag?I've used Dyson's (never owned one) and they have tremendous suction power, but I absolutely HATE the bag-less containers because when I empty them the dust goes everywhere and eventually you have to clean the containers and those filters inside.If there isn't anything that combines the best of both worlds, what upright (bag using) vacuum do you recommend as the best for a single floor mid-sized house?I really desire something that can get up close against the edge of the carpet and the side-boards and has good consistent suction power.

I love Dyson vacuum cleaners - we have two! When I go to empty them out, I just put the canister into a grocery bag and pull the latch. It helps to keep the dust contained. Don't buy a Kirby - got sucked into one of those, and it doesn't work half as well as my Dyson's.

Royal (they look old fashioned) but are very quality. You need to look online, they are not sold at places like Target or Home Depot. Similar in quality is Oreck, they are also not sold in typical stores. Both start at around $200 or $250.

Q:Do I need to Vacuum up pet hair, etc before I use one of these Bissell Upright Steam Cleaners. I was going to purchase a new Bagless Bissell Pet Hair removal vacuum and the aile over I saw the Bissell Pro Heat cleaners for like 100 bucks more. Can I just get rid of my vacuum and use this steam cleaner instead or do you still need to vacuum before you clean. Or can I use steam cleaners without the water now and then just like a vacuum?

It really is tough to compare the two, I agree that Wade is a better leader and motivator than Lebron and actually had higher PPG than Lebron. Wade obviously has a weaker team surrounding him so it is very impressive how far they've come from last season. As far as the MVP is concerned you can't take the literal meaning of most valuable player. The NBA tends to give the award to the most valuable player on one of the top few teams in the league, and the Cavs had an incredible record this season, so by the NBA's standards Lebron deserves the award over Wade. I do think that Wade is more valuable to the Heat than Lebron is to the Cavs, because without Lebron the Cavs would still be a playoff team, but without Wade the Heat would be in last place like last year. That said ...both are amazing players and both are deserving of the award.
