He may not react the same way in your home because it's his territory and he feels safe there. Try to determine his fears concerning the vacuum so you can put to rest any unnecessary fears. My five year old daughter is very jumpy when she hears loud noises and she would immediately cling to me too.

Q: any specific brands or models? I'm looking for under 200 dollars, thanks: Unfortunately with vacuum cleaners as with all other things in life, you get what you pay for. You aren't going to find a good pet vacuum for that price, unless you find someone selling a used but still functional one. I own a Dyson DC17 Animal. It does a great job, but also will run you close to $500. My less expensive Bissel Pet Hair Eraser was repaired under warranty 3 times and died again right after the warranty expired. Plus, it didn't clean half as well as the Dyson even when it was working properly.

Q: Why did God make men with British and Australian accents so good at selling vacuum cleaners on American TV?: All related to culture and area... many different languages sound cool or sexy to others of a different language. That is why they use them in commercials, it gets some peoples attention.

Q: Do I need to Vacuum up pet hair, etc before I use one of these Bissell Upright Steam Cleaners. I was going to purchase a new Bagless Bissell Pet Hair removal vacuum and the aile over I saw the Bissell Pro Heat cleaners for like 100 bucks more. Can I just get rid of my vacuum and use this steam cleaner instead or do you still need to vacuum before you clean. Or can I use steam cleaners without the water now and then just like a vacuum?: You have to have both. Steam cleaners aren't designed to be vacuum cleaners. (I haven't heard of a dual purpose one yet.) You need a vacuum cleaner for weekly general cleaning in between steaming and you use the steam cleaner for cleaning every couple months or if have a particularly tough stain in carpet or a large house party to clean up after. Or just buy the vacuum cleaner and rent a steamer when you need it. Or hire Stanley Steamer to steam clean for you. The only people who really need to own a steamer and use it frequently are those with white/light carpets and lots of foot traffic and pets.

Q: Can poor people own Dyson vacuum cleaners?: Of course they can. Their welfare checks have to be spent on something and a Dyson is better than booze.

I have a very high military security clearance, so I'll have to ask you to keep this all under your hat ( or helmet or whatever), -- but the scuttlebutt is, that we're in the process of building, ( in Area 51 ), a very large concrete bunker where the government intends to bury all those things that the government certifies to be non-existent. The real hope is that it may be dug up, at such a time that science is able to produce something from nothing, and put it to good use by intelligent design.
