Excavators are used in many ways:
Digging of trenches, holes, foundations
Material handling
Brush cutting with hydraulic attachments
Forestry work
Forestry mulching
Demolition
General grading/landscaping
Mining, especially, but not only open-pit mining
River dredging
Driving piles, in conjunction with a pile driver
Drilling shafts for footings and rock blasting, by use of an auger or

Hydraulic drill attachment

Hydraulic excavator capabilities have expanded far beyond excavation tasks with buckets. With the advent of hydraulic-powered attachments such as a breaker, a grapple or an auger, the excavator is frequently used in many applications other than excavation. Many excavators feature a quick coupler for simplified attachment mounting, increasing the machine's utilization on the jobsite. Excavators are usually employed together with loaders and bulldozers. Most wheeled, compact and some medium-sized (11 to 18-tonne) excavators have a backfill (or dozer) blade. This is a horizontal bulldozer-like blade attached to the undercarriage and is used for levelling and pushing removed material back into a hole.

Q:I am buying a home that has a large shed in the back. The loan is FHA and the appraiser requires it be torn down or repaired. This is an old shed close to 100 years old and was built with all 2x4s with many rotting pieces so fixing it would cost the same as rebuilding a new one. The shed is approx 15x24 in an L shape. I'm working with a contractor for the other repairs and he quoted me at $7,500 for a full demo, I said leave the floors and he brought it down to $5,500. This seems like a rather large amount especially looking around online I was expecting 2-3k at most. Is his quote realistic? Im under a deadline so I had him write it up but I most likely will do it myself or find someone with a excavator to come in and just crush it.
Cheaper to rent a mini bulldozer and drive it thru yourself Is the contractor also charging for waste removal in that cost ? Then it might be reasonable Hard to say without knowing your city. You could call your local dump and see what they charge for construction debris It would be per ton and if there is a slab of concrete under the structure then costs might be reasonable I would call other contractors for estimates good luck Lr
Q:If I met a woman who ran an excavator at a precious metals open pit mine, would she be a gold digger?
Literally, yes. Figuratively, probably not. Gold-diggers don't usually operate heavy machinery. They get their gold the oldest profession way.
Q:How is this machine all around ? What else is in same circuit as the drive motor ? Thank you very much !!!!!
No idea sorry, but i searched for 30 minutes for an answer...
Q:I have a blue/black mill deck. It is a pretty standard mill deck with halimar excavators and jwari shapeshifters thrown in as millers/blockers. My big problem occurs when I get overrun by an opponents flying creatures. What can I do. Are there any blue or black enchantments that can help me or will I just have to put in some flying creatures (really don't want to take up space doing that). Thanks for the help.

Q:.an Italian excavator working in Egypt uncovered eleven well-preserved mummies in a large tomb on the west bank of the Nile River. By 1835, the four mummies that had not yet been sold to collectors in the eastern United States found their way in a traveling exhibit to Kirtland, Ohio....Believing the mummies were worth owning, Joseph engaged the assistance of a number of church members in Kirtland to purchase them on behalf of the Church.quot;-Quoted from Coke Newell's quot; The Latter Daysquot;------------------------------------------------------------After reading the part, I searched for the mummies that the LDS Church purchased. However, I couldn't find any information about what happened to them.Where did the mummies go?
thats an interesting point i will ask my dad or maybe my uncle ( the bishop )
Q:where is the backup alarm on a cat 345 excavator?
Cat 345 Excavator
Q:I need directions on changing motor oil on Caterpillar 320cl excavator?
at the back of the machine on the swing structurebelow the engine there should be a a hole in the metal or you can remove a peice of the metal but it should be at the back of the machine not far from the counter weight but if you look there is a hole or something you mite have to remove but they have a way of getting back there to do that if you still cant find it call you local cat dealer and they will beable to tell you were it is
Q:My husband and I are building a new home and our septic design is for a 5 bedroom home. The excavator is calling for 500 tons of white quartz sand. 500 tons is a lot. Can anyone tell me if that is a rational amount?
doesn't seem overly stated. sand runs about 2500lb per yard,18 yards on a truck.it all depends on the slope you have and the rise you end up with.not sure the code where your at but you will need approximately the same amount of black dirt as you need in sand possibly 36 yards less.
Q:I'm redoing my leopard gecko's (luetenant Dan) setup with more excavator. I already made in a cave (type thing) with a tunnel connected. I think he has outgrown it. How do I reuse excavator? Can I? And are there any techniques or tricks? I know that I can use a ballon (which I did)I have a 4 quart bag I got for $6. Luetanant Dan is in a 20 gallon tank.I would like to see your guys' set up using excavator :)
I personally don't use Excavator because of the fact that it clumps when it gets wet, but crumbles when it gets too dry, giving the chance of being ingested by a leopard gecko. Once it gets ingested, it gets wet again and can cause impaction.
Q:What are the salaries for 360 excavator operators in canada?
People running diggers in Klondike goldfields make $18-25 an hour. depending on their experience.
