Excavators are used in many ways:
Digging of trenches, holes, foundations
Material handling
Brush cutting with hydraulic attachments
Forestry work
Forestry mulching
Demolition
General grading/landscaping
Mining, especially, but not only open-pit mining
River dredging
Driving piles, in conjunction with a pile driver
Drilling shafts for footings and rock blasting, by use of an auger or

Hydraulic drill attachment

Hydraulic excavator capabilities have expanded far beyond excavation tasks with buckets. With the advent of hydraulic-powered attachments such as a breaker, a grapple or an auger, the excavator is frequently used in many applications other than excavation. Many excavators feature a quick coupler for simplified attachment mounting, increasing the machine's utilization on the jobsite. Excavators are usually employed together with loaders and bulldozers. Most wheeled, compact and some medium-sized (11 to 18-tonne) excavators have a backfill (or dozer) blade. This is a horizontal bulldozer-like blade attached to the undercarriage and is used for levelling and pushing removed material back into a hole.

Q: My 10 year old cousin is asking me he is being curious help he's asking me all day and not a fan of transformer.
That would be Devestator. Formed by multiple robots; from Wikipedia: Scavenger, a red Terex OK RH 400 hydraulic mining excavator, closely resembling Demolishor. He forms the torso of Devastator, along with Overload. Hightower, transforms into a yellow Kobelco CK2500 crawler crane and forms the left arm. Long Haul, a green Caterpillar 773B dump truck, which forms the right leg. Mixmaster, who transforms into a black and silver Mack concrete mixer truck. He forms the head. Rampage, a yellow Caterpillar D9 bulldozer who forms the left leg. Scrapper, a yellow Caterpillar 992G scoop loader who forms the right arm. Overload, a red articulated dump truck that also forms Devastator's torso.
Q: My 5yr old wants an excavator cake for his birthday,i enjoy baking but cannot find a recipe anywhere, that shows you how to make one, and how to make the icing yellow, can anyone help please, thanks.
Assembled from a pound cake and Twinkies, this no-bake treat will please the crew at a celebration with a truck or vehicle theme, or at our construction party. Ingredients 9 1/2-by 4-inch pound cake 1 1/2 cups yellow frosting 1/2 cup light-brown frosting (white and chocolate mixed together) Chocolate decorators' frosting 4 mini chocolate-covered doughnuts Blue and green MM's candies Red and yellow gumdrops 4 Twix 2 Twinkies 4 (8-inch) wooden skewers, trimmed into two 4K-inch and two 6-inch pieces 4 yellow Twizzlers Rainbow Twists, cut to the same size as the skewers 12 chocolate cookies (we used Oreo cookies) X Instructions Cut a 2 1/2-inch-long section from one end of the cake. Frost the section's cut end and place it on top of the cake for the cab, as shown. Cover the entire cake with yellow frosting, saving about 1/3 cup for the loader and bucket. Spoon the light-brown frosting into a resealable sandwich bag, snip off a corner, and pipe a window onto each side of the cab. Outline the windows with chocolate decorators' frosting, then press the doughnut tires in place. Add MM's and gumdrops for lights and hubcaps. Use Twix to add a smokestack and loader arms. Frost one of the Twinkies yellow, set it on the loader arms, and add chocolate decorators' frosting details. Cut a 2-inch section from the other Twinkie, place it behind the truck for the bucket, and frost it yellow. Add pieces of yellow gumdrop for teeth. Slide the skewers inside the Twizzlers. Press them into the cake and bucket as shown, using dabs of chocolate decorators' frosting to join them. With a rolling pin or food processor, crush the chocolate cookies into dirt and sprinkle it around the cake. Serves 8.
Q: the big drill blade thingy wich gets rid of all the gravity how do i shop iti just die wen i go init.
Once again you have not made yourself clear. I believe you are on about the excavator? To de-activate the excavator you have to hack the small computer placed around in spawn. If the computer/controller is flashing green its indicating that it needs to be disabled. Be careful though. When holding the hacker you will not be able to breath in open zones with no oxygen. I have died on quite a few attempts of this. I hope I helped. P.s, if you are going to ask any more of these questions please give more detail and try and be a little more descriptive :S
Q: can i use this in a wooden terrarium for my leopard gecko and have plastic wrap on the bottom and sides of the tank so it does stick?
Oof. Take that crap out, oh lord he might be crying inside from th e noise. Take out the plastic wrap and put paper towel in for substrate, much easier and better for the gecko in general. Or sand if your careful about compaction.
Q: SURVEY: what would excavators find if they dug up your backyard?
Well, besides dirt, they would find a few skeletons, one of which would be the bunny we had to have a funeral for because our dog at the time wouldn't let the little thing run through the yard.
Q: I need this deck to be competitive enough for FNMhere is the deck listx4 halimar excavatorx4 jwari shapeshifterx2 clonex3 join the ranksx2 kabira evangelx4 ondu clericx2 archive trapx1 seagate loremasterx2 umara raptorx3 hada freebladex3 kazandu blademasterx2 dispelx4 unsummonx4 halimar depthsx2 rite of replicationx7 plainsx7 islandsx4 sejiri refugepls give specific suggestion if youre going to tell me to add a cardpls also tell me waht to remove and pls help me with the sideboardbecause i dont usually use sideboards.and if your going to suggestsome cards please suggest cheap cars because i tried to make thisas low priced as possible.
Way too many cards with less than 3 copies. As a general rule, you want 4 copies of a card in your deck, except sometimes if it is a Planeswalker, Legendary, or costs 5+ mana. With how fast most Magic games end, if you have less than 3 copies, you'll likely not draw a single copy of it in half your games. If you are OK with that, then you shouldn't include that card in your deck to begin with. I could see maybe staying at 2 copies of Rite of Replication, since in this type of deck, you really are aiming to kick it. Kazandu Blademaster and Hada Freeblade are way too good of allies to only run 3 of. If running White at all in Standard, you practically have to run at least 4 Oblivion Rings. Sideboarding some Path to Exiles and/or Journey to Nowhere is a good idea as well. You are really lacking in the control department. Dispel is too situational. A nice design for a card, but in most cases, if you have the mana for it, you'd also have the mana for Negate, which works on a lot more. I'd suggest sideboarding the Evangels if the point is Mill. Maybe even the Raptors as well.
Q: Is it true that as a miner you can get a lawyer for free in North Carolina?
Not too easy for me: Constitutionally speaking, Miners cannot get attorneys for free because they are gainfully employed and therefore not indigent. Plus, they are too old.
Q: what colour are kobelco excavators. blue or green?
They are green.
