- The first chair is called: Zuo Carbon White Leatherette and Chrome Frame Chair I love this chair more than the other. I tend to like more modern items so that one is great!! It costs more, but looks hot!!

The ends of the legs are round +- 18mm (3/4 inches). I have tried felt pads - no good - they wear away in days. I have tried hard plastic caps - a little better - but still difficult to move.What can I do to allow the chairs to slide easily.
- Nylon chair glides would probably be your best bet. I just tiled our kitchen area and bought these for oak dining room chairs. I don't know if they have them for metal chairs. Check Home Depot or one of the other home improvement stores.

- Q: I am currently a freshman in high school. I am third chair clarinet in band overall. This is pretty good, and I am expected to do well. The only thing is, I'm not expected to get first chair until my senior year because the 2nd chair is a sophomore (the first chair is moving soon so he's not an issue) and she's expected to get first chair each year. While I do realize being third chair as a freshman is quite good, I don't want to wait until I'm a senior to make first chair. I know that next year there will be a freshman who is quite good (she's in eighth grade and already knows her scales 3 octaves) and may pose as competition. However I don't want to have to think that she is competition. I want to be able to know each time that I will be first chair. I want the sophomore above me to not always expect to be first chair. So my question is, what can I do to ensure that I am first chair? For our auditions we have sight-reading and scales with tone being taken into account considerably.

- Will the wedding look cheap with out them? Yes - sort of - it depends on the chairs. If its those plastic chairs with the metal legs (classroom chairs) yes it did look very cheap at a wedding I attended. If its any other chair, it doesn't matter. I had them at my wedding. It was $5 per chair cover hire and $2 for the coloured sash. It all adds up. But it did make them look beautiful. If you can afford it. Go ahead. If its going to blow your budget. Save your money.

- Q: I bought a kitchen table set about 2months ago and for some reason every night it starts to creak. i looked around the chair trying to find a cause but sure enough it was coming from a leg of one of the wooden chairs i took the leg off and noticed a crack in the leg, the creaking stopped immediately. i put it back on and every night since it starts to creak first one creak every few mins to one creak every second. i tried to think of explanations like maybe a bug burrowed in the leg but that's not it. then i thought maybe air pressure or something but then why is it always at night and why is it in a pattern either two, three, or fours creaks then a pause then two, three, or four more. this is so weird someone help
- Get rid of the chair it is haunted. Just kidding I bet it's just a manufacturing error, you should call the company and explain the situation, be stern. They should refund you. :) or you could get it checked out by a priest if you are worried it is haunted ^_^
