Q:How to clean the carpet stained with wax oil?

Cover it with absorbent paper, then use hair dryer, use carpet cleaner after the wax oil is absorbed clean, if the wax oil is too much, repeatly use oil absorbent paper.

Carpet when not cleaned won t last but 5/6 years or less if you have a cheaper carpet.. Its suggested that you have it professionally cleaned at least once a year to make it last. Better made carpets when cleaned regularly will last 12/15 years. Sweeping it at least weekly ( manufactures suggest daily but lets be real lol) will extend the life of a carpet greatly. Basic carpet will go for around 3$ (+-) a s/f installed with a basic pad. You ll need a pc 12x21 and that ll have several T seams along one wall. Or a pc 15x17 and no seams but will be 3 more s/f. I d go seamless and get the extra 3 s/f. If your carpet isn t glue down now and its a standard install , it will run from free rip out to 50 cents a s/f (about 100/125 $) One thing you may run into is disposal of the old and that can run from 75 /100$ All these prices vary from area to area but your looking at 1000$ for all you ve listed. Q:I have been living in a rental home for 2yrs and notice that the carpet is old. Due to the fact that i have had it clean 1 time steam clean and 2 times rental machine and stains will not come up. Asked rental company once and they said the owner does not have enough money to replace carpet. The carpet is over 10yrs old and you can tell because the edges are coming up and the man who clean the carpet one time said they don't make that kind of carpet any more. How can i get the owner to replace the carpet.

you can't compel him to replace the carpet . pick your battles save it for real problems ,like plumbing or heating.

Q:I am thinking of buying a carpet shampooer. We just bought a house that has a lot of carpet. Is it smarter to buy a shapooer or keep having someone come in and do it for us? And if a shampooer is ideal which is the best brand?

Depending on how often you shampoo your carpet, you will definately get your monies worth in just a couple months or so. My daughter and I have asthma and I have 3 kids...that's enough said, so I clean my carpets about every 6 weeks due to the asthma whether they need it or not. I bought a bissel from wal-mart for about $80 so I had gotten my moneys worth in just two cleanings. I've now had that same bissell about 5 years so it is very worth it just purchase one. I love mine and my sister n law and friends had borrowed it a few times and decided to just buy one for themselves and have never been sorry!!

Q:i have a huge braided wool rug and was wondering if i could use a bissel home carpet shampooer on it. if not, how can i give it an all over cleaning? i cant afford to take it anywhere professional

Try mixing some liquid laundry soap with water in a spray bottle. Take it out side and hang it over something like a fence or a couple of chairs spray it down real good with the soap and then use the water hose with a nozzle on it to spray it down. Leave out it the sun to dry . You might have to turn it over in a few hours to help both sides dry. I would also clean both sides. Hope this helps.
