Q:Help...Need a replacement water pump for my BioCube?
ok before replacing have you cleaned the inside, and if there are air bubbles comming out it is because it is running dry. Basically all biocubes do this, the filter pad is slowing down the water too much, so either rince it well or replace it. Also i would wash out the blue sponge right before the pump as that can hold alot of dirt as well. Then if not add more water. But if you want to replace the pump, try via aqua water pumps. they tend to be the best. owner of the BC 29 and BC 14
Q:How long should a water pump last?
You didn't indicate from where the steam is originating. It could be from the radiator, radiator cap, coolant reservoir, cracked manifold, gaskets, hoses, etc, etc, etc, in which case, the water pump may have nothing to do with the problem (of course, a fault pump may CAUSE the problem, but, without more information, it's impossible to give you a specific answer). As far as how long water pumps last, it depends on the manufacture, whether it's new, used, or remanufactured, how much and how hard the vehicle is driven, etc etc etc. Generally speaking, a brand new water pump should last at least 10 years or 100,000 miles. Good luck!
Q:Replaced the Radiator on my accord last week, and this week the water pump failed. Are they related?
If your radiator went then it is highly likely that regular maintenance ie rad flushing, fluid changes have not been taking place. Water pump will have nothing to do with the rad, unless when rad was leaking you ran vehicle with no lubrication (water-antifreeze mix) to water pump. The pump will just seize up or crack. These issues are probably just age related. If the rad was defective or you had coolant issues, the lights on your dash would indicate low fluid engine overheat of course you wouldn't drive it then. Everybody knows what a dummy light is for, right.
Q:i have a montgomery ward sea king 5 hp outboard and need a water pump?

Q:water pump running backward?
Check the belt diagram and make sure that the belt is on correctly; if it is on backwards fix it. If you have white smoke coming out of the exhaust that is water vapor which means that the engine has gotten too hot and you have a cracked head or a blown head gasket.
Q:*Updated 95 Mercury Villager ~ Water pump?
Again, see last answer to your same question. You obviously dont know what the real problem is, could be water pump and might not be. Instead of wasting over 25.00 on a water pump and that not being the problem, why dont you take it to a reputable repair facility and have the cooling system analyzed and they can tell you EXACTLY what part(s) need replacing, then go from there. Nobody can diagnose your cooling system problem over the internet since we are not at your vehicle with a coolant pressure tester and block test tool.
Q:velosity of water pump of dirrrent pipe like suction & delivery?
Q:2000 300 chrysler how much install a water pump?
Depends on what engine and drivetrain you have. If it's a v6 rear-wheel-drive, you're probably looking in the neighborhood of about $650 USD. If it's a v8 all wheel drive, then you're probably looking more around $850 USD. That's for a timing belt and water pump replacement at most shops.
Q:Domestic pump does not use water, or turn, I do not know why?
The motor should be kept working, may be the motor switch problem, idling motor pump long time will certainly be bad, ha ha, the solution is to find a water pump maintenance master to work safety first!
Q:cost of fixing thermostat or water pump?
Like most answerer's, I agree. The task is easy if it is the thermostat that is the prob. You could even do this yourself, if you are so inclined. But if it is the water pump, though the part may not cost much (depending on make and model of vehicle), almost the whole front of the engine will need to be removed to get to the water pump. No matter who does the work for you, also ask them to look at your radiator hoses (top and bottom), too. Many times, when a thermostat has stuck or a water pump has failed, the hoses get stressed and if they're not at least looked at, and ok'd...could be the cause of your next problem. Another thing to have checked is all your belts. Most vehicles nowadays have only one belt (serpentine belt) that runs everything, older vehicles have a few belts. All of these belts will have to be removed if the water pump is replaced, so have them looked at when they are off the vehicle, just in case. Talk you your friends to find someone who could do the repairs for you, either a shop or a shade tree mechanic. The whole job shouldn't take more than an hour or two, depending on vehicle and ability of mechanic. Sorry we're not local or it would have been fixed already.
