There are two specialty types of waste and overflows for your situation. You need either a side outlet or a heal outlet waste and overflow. The real UFC gloves(the official ones fighters really use) have more padding, and look different. It would not really make too much of a different. If you punched somebody with the less padded training gloves, you could hurt your hand, but fighters always wrap or tape their hands before putting on their gloves. Downfalls: None, really. Q:Has anybody any problems with their Iridium shields flaking? It seems that the mirrored finish and color are starting to flake off around the bottom edge and the tab you use to flip the shield up with. I'm not a huge fan of sharkbite fittings especially in an enclosed place where they could leak without anyone noticing for a while. However, I can't see anything wrong with the setup you have. Yes of course brass is more expensive than plastic and better. Seems like maybe your handyman wants you to think he is smarter than he really is. I would suggest adding a wood block between the studs behind the valve and attaching the valve to it with plumbers strap. that way it cant wiggle around with use and cause leaks later.
