Q:i just bought some of this modeling clay for my daughter for her science project and put it in the oven for the correct time on a baking tray with nothing elsewhen i took it out 15 minuets later, it was all burnt and the room filled up with a whitish sm…
If you stuck the Fimo clay into a toaster oven the temperature indicator of the toaster oven probably isn't accurate, but a lot offSounds you used the appropriate time, but not the appropriate temperatureThe temp in a toaster oven may also not be very homogenousYou can use a toaster oven, but you need to make sure you figure out the actual heat where you put your sculpture using an oven thermometerI guess like with baking you can use a piece of aluminum foil so it get less direct heat from heating elements If you use a normal oven which you also use for food you should either put it into a roast bag or enclose it in aluminum foil OR clean your oven before you use the oven for food againSo essentially the aluminum foil saves you cleaning timeI think the first answer assumes you use oil-based clay instead of FimoIf you used a polymer clay like Fimo, yes it should be OK to bake in the ovenIf you used something else, it depends what that something else was.
Q:I did something stupid but and I will never do it again but I got caught shopliftingWell actually, I left the story without stealing anything but a cop followed me out, searched me and found an aluminum foil bag that would be used to steal something so I am being charged with thatWhat should I expect to happen to me in NJ? I do not mind fines or community service, I just do not want to be convictedI am 18 years old and I attend Rutgers University if that is any help to not get me convictedAlso to note, I had already spent one night in jail and had to pay $750 bail, would that affect anything?
I would consult a GOOD attorney asapQuestions that your attorney needs to address: 1Was the cop's search legal? (If he walked up to you asked to see inside your bag and you gave him permission, maybe, otherwise probably not) 2Why did the cop stop you? 3Is a magic bag considered a burglary tool AFTER you exit the storeI don't know NJ law, but the magic bag is a greater offense than simple shoplifting in many states, it COULD be a a felony The fact that you didn't steal anything works greatly in your favor Don't plea to anything until you know how good the state's case is.
Q:an someone explain it easier to me what a water shed is and also if i crumple up a piece of paper and spay mist, how many would there be watersheds? i don't really understand what they are??
If you don't want to buy new knitting needles, look for yarn in a Sport Weight or Fingering WeightI agree to stay away from Super Saver yarnIt is awful!!!There are many acrylic or washable wool blends that would knit up very nicelyI like Lionbrand, Caroons or Patton's yarns and they are very reasonable.
Q:.day.Soda and water bottles are plastic, we use disposable plastic containers, plastic wrap, plastic everythingIt's convenient, and naturally, I'm guilty also.My question is, besides the bottle thing (I actually remember when all the bottles were glass!), what did people do in the quot;oldquot; days before plastic bags, aluminum foil and waxed paper, to keep their sandwiches and food fresh when they went to work with a bagged lunch? I'm just curiousDid they wrap sandwiches in cloth? Like napkins? How did they store leftovers before tupperware and gladware came along? When I was young I remember my mom using waxed paper and aluminum foil - are they quot;greenerquot; options than all this plastic? Does aluminum foil eventually disintigrate?Anyone have any thoughts about this? Thanks for your input!
I'd say (in CAD funds) around 40,000 would be reasonableI've seen TRUE Chevelle SS's go for higher thoughNumbers matching all original though (as in all the internals are what came with the car.) Then again I could be WAY off lmaoBut that's my opinion.
Q:I am doing a canned and dried food drive at my school, but I do know what dried foods are exactly, can anyone give me examples? please
canned foods- food that is in aluminum canssuch as tomatoes, beans, sauces, etcdried food- nuts, legumes, beans, anything in a package that's not wet basically.
Q:A 2.0 mm diameter aluminum ball is charged to +58 nCWhat fraction of its electrons have been removed? The density of aluminum is 2,700 kg/m3.
Since the atomic weight of aluminum is also very close to 27, the 2700 kg is very close to 100,000 molesTherefore, each 1 m^3 of aluminum is 100,000 times Avogadro's number of atomsNumber of atoms in each 1 m^3 will be 6.0 x 10^23 x 100000 6.0 x 10^28Number of electrons in each 1 m^3 of aluminum will be 27 x 6 x 10^28 1.6 x 10^30Volume of a 2.0-mm-diameter ball is (4/3)(pi)(0.002 m)^3 3.35 x 10^(-8) m^3 Number of electrons in this volume will be (3.35 x 10^(-8) m^3)(1.6 x 10^30/m^3) 5.36 x 10^22 How many electrons are required for a charge of -58 nC? That would be 58 x 10^(-9) C/(1.6 x 10^(-19) C) 3.6 x 10^11 So the fraction removed is 3.6 x 10^11/(5.36 x 10^22) about 7 x 10^(-12), that is to say, 7 trillionths, or 1 out of every 150 billionNot a whole lot!!!
Q:1.I am building up a supply of aluminum to melt and was wondering if coffee cans are aluminum2Sources for cast iron? I don't want to buy any unless its scrap or somethingIt is also to melt(please don't leave answers telling me how foolish this is or anything, I've got it under control ;)3Is it necessary to add zinc to molten brass since it might vaporize? Thanks,ThE aSkEr
What about grains? I also suggest more dark leafy greens.
Q:which one has no burnt alot?
I'm not sure how to construct something but I do know that in the old days before freezers, people use to pack the ice houses (which were just sheds) with ice and then pack saw dust all around the ice so they would have ice all through the summer and it supposedly kept the ice blocks frozen for months of above freezing weathermaybe do some kind of research into how they maintained their iceGood luck on your project.
Q:I have a kayak and don't want mice going inside itIf I put aluminum foil over the cover will it keep them from crawling under the cover and chewing on it?
Wheels are not essential for survivalNor are any of the other innovations of civilized life, other than medicineThe only thing I can see as being essential is the circular spear shaft and other wooden/bone tools, but as we now know hunting was not necessary for hunter gatherers, who could scavenge or survive merely on fruits and vegetables that they gathered themselvesSquare dwellings are very common because of the use of tree logs and other materials that are not as easy to build in a circular shapeHowever circular tents and mud-huts are common enough that there is no significant differenceI would say that no single shape is necessary for survival-unless you count blood cells and eye shape, which goes beyond humans.
