Q:Im gitting some speed skates and the wheels on them are BOE BOE. I need some help
you usually dont get to choose the wheels because all the pro ones are between 99A - 101A and thats not much a diffeence 99A and below is softer wheels and 100A and up are very hard wheels usually better for tranny skating
Q:I‘ve seen skates with different amounts of wheels. What are the technical advantages and disadvantages from having 3, 4, and 5 wheels?
Three wheels are generally on really cheap or small skates. Skates for inline figure skating have three wheels for the ability to spin on them. Three wheels means that more weight is on each wheel which makes them roll slower. Four wheels are on most skates. Racing or advanced fitness skates with smaller than 90mm wheels generally have 5 wheels. The weight on each wheel is less and the longer wheelbase helps with stability at higher speeds (but they don't turn as easily). Once racers started using 90, 100, or 110 mm wheels 5 wheel skates became too long and heavy to be practical. Bont has made frames (as a joke) that can hold six 110 mm wheels on their racing skates.
Q:im looking for good dh wheels i dont care about the price
it used to be the Mojave forest.1n 1843 there was a huge fire.well to make a long stoty short it never grew back
Q:I bought a skateboard and it says on the box the wheels are size 54/36 And i want to replace the wheels. Well, I go online to look at better wheels and i see the different sizes. Such as 55mm, 58mm, 50mm etc, And the closest size i see to the listed size on my board is 54/100A. Is this the right size? Remember that the box only says 54/36 not 54/36mm or 54/36A. Please help!
They are 54mm.that's it, you can pretty much have ANY wheels size you wants as long as it'll fit under your board. If you have to low of trucks an dto big of wheel you'll get wheel bite(wheels rubbing the bottom of the deck). Wheels really depend on what type of skateing you want to do. For mostly street skating not so much park you'll want 52mm-55mm, and you'll want them to be a softer wheel. soft wheels grip better to all types of terrain, hard wheels slide better and don't grip to well. Good for park or vert. The bigger the wheel the faster it'll roll. You also want a mid size wheel like 52-55 for street because they won't stop on rocks or cracks making you fall down they'll roll better over them. I like 53mm wheels the best, never had any problems with them and my style of skating is mostly street. I would never get a wheel under 52mm for any style of skating just because it's not really needed.lots of people will say you'll be able to flip a skateboard better for tricks with a small wheel.not true. you'll flip a skateboard better with practice, don't blame the equipment for bad tricks. I started out on old school decks that where super wide and super heavy and did just fine. The 100A is a hard wheel, the higher the number the harder the wheel the lower the number the softer it is, so like say you find a 54mm that says 54/80A that's a pretty good wheel for street, stay in the 80's up to mid 90's. Especially if you're just starting out the better the grip you have the best you'll learn.
Q:What effects did the invention of the Ferris Wheel have on the Cleveland presidency.
The okorder /article?assetid=00... ) was president for the second time in 1893, and he started the fair off by flipping an electrical switch - symbolizing a new age of technology, science and culture. At the opening, the ferris wheel was not yet ready to go, but it became the most popular attraction at the fair. xroads.virginia.edu/~MA96/WCE/int... In 1893 America was in the midst of a terrible depression that Cleveland was largely ignoring, since he considered it the fault of gold speculators and not the problem of the federal government. The Fair and it's Ferris Wheel also looked away from some of the social problems of its time and instead embodied the optimistic and forward looking 19th century attitude, where technology, reason and education were seen as bringers of a new utopia. For a wonderful article describing the Fair, it's cultural context and outcomes, visit this site: xroads.virginia.edu/~MA96/WCE/title.html
Q:I want to change the front wheel of Micro Sprite Scooter to 100m wheelthe front wheel of Micro sprite is 120m.do u think it will fit?
Do you mean 100mm? You can measure it with a ruler w/milimeters on it, just measure the width between the outer edges (where the tire bead would lay) If you are talking mm then a 120 mm rim would most likey not fit, you must take into consideration the area needed for the front fender and forks. The tire would rub on them. if your going smaller, there should be no prob.
Q:does that mean for wheel drive???? am planing on buying either 2006 or 2007 infinity coupe and and i read the detail and it says for wheel ABS
I am in the auto industry and I'm amazed at the answers I've read! ABS is an acronym for Anti-lock Braking System. An ABS has sensors on either two or four wheels. When you apply the brakes, the sensors detect a wheel lock and will quickly release braking pressure, then return braking pressure to normal. This keeps the car from skidding, which keeps you in control of the car. There are a few different ABS used by auto manufacturers. The least expensive to use is the rear wheel ABS, which keeps only the rear wheels from locking. This is used on larger trucks, where locking the rear is very unsafe. Some cars have a three channel ABS. Think of each channel as an ABS. Each of the two front wheels has their own channel and both of the rear wheels are on one channel (three channels). The Infiniti Coupe has a four channel system. Each wheel has its own ABS, so four wheels four channels. This is the best ABS available, since each wheel can have the ABS work independent of what the other wheels are doing. This also decreases the stopping distance and increases the braking power. I hope this helps. Greg
Q:if i put a cut off wheel on an angle grinder can i use it to cut through a medal pipe? are cut off wheels compatible with angle grinders?
Yes but its for general purpose straight cuts. I've been using a Metabo cutting wheel in lieu of a torch for cutting, including stainless that's 3/16 or less. They work great, are inexpensive, and fit angle grinders.
Q:what does wheel backspacing and wheel offset mean
wheel backspacing is how much room you have on the backside of the wheel in relation to the suspension etc.. offset is where the disc part of the wheel is, in relation to the rim.. if the disc is centered front to back tha is 0 offset if it is toward the back that is positve offset, toward the front is negative... most standard wheels on current cars are negative offset....
