Features of  High Quality AKZ-99 Alumina Brick

1.High compressive strength

2.Excellent thermal shock resistance

3.High thermal efficiency of the kiln

Description of High Quality AKZ-99 Alumina Brick

High-alumina lightweight refractory bricks have high-alumina bauxite powder and refractory clay as raw materials and some inflammable additions, shaped by tamping or extrusion pressing and fired in high-temp tunnel kiln after being dried.

High-alumina lightweight refractory bricks have three brands in accordance with their bulk densities, which are decided by the amount of the inflammable additions. High-alumina lightweight refractory bricks with large bulk density have the features of high mechanical strength and small change of load at a high temperature.

Application of High Quality AKZ-99 Alumina Brick

Used in heat-insulating layers and furnace linings of thermal equipment, such as, roller kilns ceramics, heating furnaces petrochemical reforming, reforming furnaces, soaking ptis metallurgy and blast furnaces.

Q:Say a person was in a large tub and they filled the tub with wet cement and it was to be filled right up to the persons shoulders leaving his neck and head sticking out? Like after the block of cement hardens? Would the person die?just curious.
The person would die painfully and pretty quickly. As soon as the cement started to harden, the cement would crush the ribs, probably jabbing the heart or other vital organs. If, say you did live through that... You're still stuck in a tub of freaking cement.
Q:well i'm pretty poor and my house and almost everything in it is ghetto. i mean but it works. anyways all i do is workout with my body weight and i'm getting bored of that. I do pull ups on a tree branch. i hang upside and do abs with tree brances. do push ups with my little sisters on my back. but i want to lift weights so i wanted to make my own. can you guys help? with instructions. materials i need. prices. thanksi am perfectly happy with only dumbbells because you can do everything with dumbells. and i can use the ground as my quot;benchquot;thanks!
You'll need; 1 1/2 black iron pipe x 4 ft L., 40 lb bag Quik-Krete, (2) one gallon milk jugs Cut a hole in the side of each milk jug to fit the pipe Insert the pipe in the holes and at least half way through the empty jugs Mix the cement and pour half in to each jug and let set over night Cut the plastic jugs off You now have a dumb-bell to use, but, you'll have to weigh it to see what you are lifting
Q:what's the difference between concrete and cement, and what are they used for?
Concrete is a composite structure of sand, gravel, possibly some larger rocks, and cement. Cement is basically a water activated adhesive that is used for gluing rocks and sand to each other. To get a feel for how this works, without mixing up concrete and cement, first try and tear through ten sheets of computer paper, then pour out a puddle of white glue onto wax paper and let it dry over night then try to bend and tear it, then use a paint brush to evenly spread white glue onto paper and press together ten layers of the same paper you tried to rip before, cover with wax paper and lay several books on it overnight so it can dry then try and rip the glued paper. What you will find is that the glued paper is much stronger than either of the two ingredients by themselves, and if you use just the right amount of glue it will be stronger than the sum of the parts. In the same way, the Aggregate (Sand, Gravel and rocks) act as the structure that the load rests on, while the cement is the glue that keeps the aggregate from shifting. Many people think that cement dries to become hard, but that is inaccurate, a chemical reaction takes place between the water and the cement powder that causes the powder to turn into a solid mass, then any excess water that was not used in the chemical reaction evaporates from the concrete.
Q:Is contact cement flammable when dry?
To my understanding, NO. Here is a definition copied from the second link provided in the Source box below, OK? Liquids with a flash point less than 60.5 or 37.8 °C (141 or 100 °F)—depending upon the standard being applied—are considered flammable, while liquids with a flash point above those temperatures are considered combustible.[1] By this definition, a gob of dried contact cement is probably combustible, but certainly, not flammable. I've heard of low grade diesel, not needing a Flammable placard in shipment. Wood, for a quick example, is combustible. I think you could easily test this to your satisfaction with little butane torch. If your gob of dried glue, don't quickly ignite, it's only combustible.
Q:whats the differenc`e between concrete and cement?
Concrete is a mix of gravel, sand, and cement; the exact proportion is governed by the desired end use. Often there are some other additivies depending upon the exact end use. Cement, usually portland cement is one component of concrete. I could go on and on about the chemical nature of portland cement, how it is made, why it does what it does as well as discuss what it does but that would require a lot more space than this forum allowes and a lot more ambition than I have to type it all in.
Q:how do you prepare cement with exposed aggregates
After the cement has dried slightly you wash and scrub off the top layer of cement to expose the aggregate. Timing is very important too soon and you wash out pits and too late will not wash off anything. If you have never done it you should get someone that has to teach you how.
Q:When installing fence posts for a 6 foot high privacy fence, I have gotten a few different inputs reference cement. Specifically, should what would you recommend and why: 1) dry pack cement into the hole and don't add water (let nature do it over time; does this jeopardize the plum of the posts initially); 2) dry pack cement into the hole and then add some water; 3) premix and then add to the hole; or 4) use quick drying cement.

Q:i recently removed the tilling from my basement floor and now my basement is just plain cement flooring. What are the steps i need to take to tile over it?
I would give a really good answer, but Jaz Iz Me already said it all!
Q:Need' to get 20 cement blocks home. How many [weight wise] can I put in the back of a PT Cruiser.? About how much does a 'Nellis' type cement block weight?
ABOUT 800 lbs. per load !
Q:It's used for gluing walls for architectural models. What are alternatives for it?
*Plastic Cement (also known as Poly-Cement) works by melting a plastic surface into another plastic surface, thereby joining them together with a powerful bond. This means it doesn't normally work on metal, but it can be adapted to do so. Refer Standard:ASTM C 1328
