High-alumina lightweight refractory bricks have high-alumina bauxite powder and refractory clay as raw materials and some inflammable additions, shaped by tamping or extrusion pressing and fired in high-temp tunnel kiln after being dried.

High-alumina lightweight refractory bricks have three brands in accordance with their bulk densities, which are decided by the amount of the inflammable additions. High-alumina lightweight refractory bricks with large bulk density have the features of high mechanical strength and small change of load at a high temperature.

Q: How long till rubber cement sets?: Rubber cement is actually rubber in a solvent. As the solvent evaporates out, the rubber thickens more and more until it is hard. So, it varies, according to how much of the rubber cement is exposed to air so the solvent can evaporate. It works so well on paper and other things like paper because paper is porous. The paper is like nothing is there to prevent the solvent from evaporating. It will take forever to cement hard plastic since plastic is not porous and the solvent can only get out at the small edges that are uncovered. Nail polish is the same kind of dissolved solid, that hardens as the solvent evaporates out. In nail polish, the solvent is acetone, which is what is mainly in nail polish remover. Rubber cement also has a thinner available for when your can of rubber cement gets too thick.

Either will work to hold pieces together and both are water proof. If you are wanting to actually for and pour a concrete structure I recommend sakrete brand pre-mixed concrete. It isn't expensive and is easy to work with. Like other concrete products, it will set underwater but you can't adequately finish it; it would be more of a 'natural' finish. You can float it off but troweling is nearly impossible. If neither of these are what you meant leave an update with more info and I'll check back later. Also about every 10 feet (3 metres) should have a stress cut.slot filled with a meterial that will keep expand and compress. These stress cuts control cracking most of the time. This edging will crack; without the stress cuts, it will crack anywhere. With the stress cuts most of the cracking will be at the cuts which will not be noticeable. About every 30 feet (9 metres), instead of a stress cut, the concrete should have a piece of tar impregnated tentest or other material to act a an expansion joint. This helps to prevent buckling when the weather is very hot. Brazilian or not, he should know the proper way to construct curbing. One point to note; if you had this job quoted on (estimates) and hired a contractor with a price much lower than anyone else, you received what you paid for. All quotes should be within approximately 10% of each other as long as you gave each contractor the same specs. An estimate which is 15% or more below the rest is one to defininately one to avoid
