Q:I am failing math and I need help? Solve this equation:The city of Rubberville plans to dig a rectangular landfill. The landfill will have a base with dimensions 700 feet by 200 feet and a depth of 85 feet.A.)An excavator was hired to dig the hole for the landfill. How many cubic yards of dirt will he have to haul away?
Given dimensions of the landfill are - 700ft x 200ft x 85 ft Hence total volume to be excavated = 700ft x 200ft x 85 ft = 11,900 cub.ft = (11,900 divided by 27) cub.yd. = 440.740 cub.yd (Note that 27 cub.ft = 1 cub.yd)
Q:Please assist with a diagnosis on this machine which I wish to acquire. I am a mechanic but I have very little knowledge of hydraulics. The following hydraulic responses are way too slow: bucket movement and the right hand side track movement. The slew/swing motor has no power. I am wondering if these functions are all fed from the same pump and it could just be a pump adjustment?? I know the pump was recently replaced with a cat dealer reman. unit. Please help ASAP.
You put your question the the pets section. I don't think you'll find the answer you're looking for here.
Q:How to choose used excavators, from where to start?
Look for a expert mechanic to give you input. You will want to know which ones are the easiest to fix and which ones are the easiest to find parts for. Then consider the type of work you plan to use the excavator for. You will want to limit your selections to ones that will meet your demands, and easy to repair and/or have a good supply of parts. From that list of acceptable models, you will need to do research on the particular excavator. You will need find one that has excellent maintenance records at a price you can afford.
Q:Actually what are all of the steps?thanks.lt;Cristigt;
I can't give you all the steps, but an architect friend assures me that the first steps are to agree the brief with the client and then check out the site.
Q:What does the excavator model mean at 1:35?
It's 35 of the actual excavator size, 1.
Q:ASimply how do you do the achievement? because every time i hack the excavator, next time i look its restarted it (by that i mean it says i havent done it) is this just luck or what? how to deal with this problem? n anyone else think its dumb achievement?

Q:I have been looking at selling my car and getting a diesel, Mostly a 02-03 7.3L PSD. I have really be looking for reasons not to buy one but i am really not finding any. I live in Missouri so its cold in the winter but as long as i have a block heater i can leave it plugged in, in my driveway so its not too big of a deal. I also know that oil changes are quite a bit more expensive but if you are going to drive it like i am... I.E. not hauling heavy loads you can go 5000mi between oil changes. Anyone have any reasons i should not buy one? Or good reasons too buy one.
Moparman is right. The 7.3L is bullet proof. When I was a paramedic, we had one w/ 300K miles on it it still ran until policy dictated it needed to be replaced. However, I have always been a semi truck driver at heart started a career there later on. In 2001, I bought a Dodge Ram 2500 w/ the Cummins drove the crap out of it. From day one it never gave me problems. The straight six design is the same used in semi trucks to this day. 2 fewer cylinders and that makes for fewer moving parts. The straight six design allows for a considerable amount of torque. I would consider that as well. It could be a great alternative.
Q:Our excavator Cat bucket teeth damaged and changed every week,Some one tell me which brand is better and long life?I hate the adulterated goods .
Cat is prefect. Esco teeth,hensley teeth ,AS teeth and mtg are also good. AS teeth, mtg teeth have OEM service for many brands. Price of the AS teeth is reasonable, productivity of the mtg teeth is smaller, and its delivery time is longer.
Q:Since technological innovation is bad according to Dear Leader, should he drop a trillion on spoon ready jobs? Think of all of the jobs that would create, a bunch of union hacks digging holes with spoons.
American Women, go ahead and report away I don't give a SHiiT.I have been here 6 years .I average 2 to 3 new accounts a DAY. I am strictly here to mock-harass Whitey Scum PUTAs and Paul g's gang.I hardly ever rationalize with anyone and especially Whitey Scum PUTAs.
Q:the question is' the city of rubber ville plans to dig a rectanguler landfil. the landfil will have a base with demensions 700 ft by 200 ft and a depth of 85 ft.'1- how many cubi feet of garbage will the landfill hold?2- what information would you need to determine how long the landfil can be used until its full?3- an excavator was hired to dig the hole for the landfill. how many cubic yards of dirft will he have to haul away?i reaally dont get this!can you please explain 1, 2, and 3 to me??
Well for number 1, simply find the volume by multiplying the given dimensions For number 2, you would need to know approxamitely the volume of trash going in daily, or something along those lines For the third, convert dimensions to yards, then multiply them? That's how I would do it, unless I misread the question
