Q:I have 1 92 cadillac sedan deville and I am takin a 12 hour road trip tomorrow and I want to know if my water pump is goin bad or is it the fuel pump? Please help driving by myself and don't wanna get stranded anywhere. thank you in advance
CAR SHOULD GET HOT FAST,ANTI FREEZE ON FLOOR,BUT NO MATTER WHAT IF IT DONT FEEL RIGHT GO TO YOUR MECHANIC BEFORE ANY LONG DRIVE..MY CAR RUNS PERFECT,STILL BEFORE ANY LONG TRIP I ALWAYS GET MY MECH TO GIVE HER THE ONCE OVER...EVEN IF ITS JUST FOR PEACE OF MIND...
Q:We just replaced the motor on our water pump that burnt out but we are still getting no water pressure. My father in law did a lot of test stuff on it he thinks it's the foot valve. Well I've been trying to call every where get quotes but NOT 1 of the places I called is answering their phone for some reason. So how much dose it usually run to have someone come fix your foot valve so I have an idea to tell my husband?
a foot valve is not that hard to change, i put mine 3 foot down from the top, the pump is on the bottom [submerged] if your s is out of the water , , check the air pressure in the air tank, also
Q:In case our electric goes out we would like to be able to run the water pump (for the well) via solar panel. Can you give me instructions, pitfalls, recommendations, links etc to help me get started? The more solar info i can get the better!thanks 10 points on offer! Our sunlight is unobstructed

Q:WHERE IS THE WATER PUMP LOCATED ON A 1995 HONDA CIVIC
on the engine, in the front
Q:1.5 kW three-phase pump with 600 meters line, should match what big line?
1.5 kilowatts water pump distance 100 meters, with 2.5 square meters of electricity enough
Q:what is the actual capacity of 15 stage 1 H.P. Borewell submersible pump. I mean can it draw water if it at 300 ft depth. Is 15 stage 1 H.P pump capable to draw water
Yes you can in fact it is better to use a larger hp pump. A 3/4 hp pump can recover the water with less of a degree of workload there by conserving the energy it takes for a smaller pump to do the same required work
Q:Here is the deal...*Van over heats*Blows Cold quot;heatquot;*Added coolant and water (nothing happened)*Started van, felt the hoses (no h2o flowing thru)I really think my water pump is out, but I am not sure. Does this sound like my water pump. If so, I plan on changing it myself, how do i find step by step instructions to do so.... I have never done it before, but I cant afford to take it to a mechanic! Thanks for your help!
Will is right. No sense in throwing away money on a water pump if that isn't the problem, your next question here would start off with.....I changed the water pump and still have the same problem..... Take it to a shop you trust, let them tell you what is wrong with it, if you choose to fix it yourself, invest in a Haynes manual. They have the step by step instructions you are looking for. Sounds to me like it is your thermostat though, as a rule, when water pumps go out, they leak, the impellers (the blades that actually pump the water) RARELY give out before the bearings or seals do. IF you choose to start replacing parts without getting it to shop, start with the thermostat. You might be pleasantly surprised.....:)
Q:My mechanic doesn't get back in town until next week, and I'm struggling without my car. I don't really have any other options mechanic wise and I'm not dropping $1000 like meineke wants. How easy is it to follow the Haynes repair manuals or any other repair manuals? I have a 1996 dodge avenger and I need to replace my water pump. I know it's a time consuming task, but is it especially hard to replace it?
If you don't have any experience working on cars aside from changing oil my suggestion is to take it in and get it done. You need to drain the coolant, loosen the belt, and then try and torque off those bolts that are prolly sticky on the water pump. And if the water has eaten through the gasket you may need to get the engine block redone where the water pump rests. Oh but don't go to Meineke yuck, you might as well pull your pants down at your own house and sit on a plunger handle; at least it is free and will probably be less painful.
Q:Im half way through replacing my water pump and im stuck...the power steering pump pully blocks access to the final bolt that needs to be removed so the water pump can be removed so i can replace the water pump... any hints on how to get to the bolt so i dont disassemble something i dont need to?
agree with michael except you may have to pull p/s any way to install water pump without messing up gasket and reinstalling bolt.
Q:The at is a 2003 Toyota celica. And how much would it cost to get the water pump and timing belt replaced?
You don't have a timing belt on the 1.8L (1ZZ-FE) engine, It has a timing chain! The water pump is driven from the serpentine belt and the labor to replace it calls for 1.8 hours (about $180) and the pump list for $52.99 and it is always wise to replace the thermostat and thermostat O-ring, and that will run you $18.00 and 1 gallon of global coolant $15.00 So your looking at about $280.00 after tax. @ The Interwebz dude, if you like typing so much, why don't you do some clicking so you can do some research before you type!
