FAQ of DIN Standard Close Coupling End Suction Pump (XAZ)

1. If I increase the power of the motor, must I also increase the power of the inverter?

You must select the size of converter that allows maximum absorption of the electric motor.

2. Do you have pumps with grinders?

Yes, the WQ models.

3. How long is your warranty?

Unless otherwise expressly authorized in writing, by specifying a longer period or different conditions, CNBM states that, for a period of twelve (12) months from delivery date, all Products supplied are free from defects in materials and workmanship, and conform to the applicable specifications. Either the delivery documentation or the invoice must be provided to prove delivery date. In absence of such documents, the production date appearing on the product label may suffice.

Q:Here are specifications for two water pump sets. I would like to know which one will have more vertical suction.Pump 1:1.5 hp, 98cc Engine, 4 - Strokes RPM 3600 (Engine RPM), Petrol Fuel, Fuel Consumption 700 ml/hour, Delivery (horizontal) 50m, Inlet / Outlet Port (Dia) 1.5x1.5 inches, Output Capacity 48000 Litres / Hour.Pump 2:3.3hp, 163 cc Engine, 4 - Strokes RPM 3600 (Engine RPM), Petrol Start amp; Kerosene Run, Fuel Consumption 700 ml/hour, Delivery (horizontal) 26m, Inlet / Outlet Port (Dia) 2x2 inches Output Capacity 36000 Litres / Hour.which one should I go for.
The first one appears to have a higher flow rating but neither gives a head figure, which is the maximum height it can work to above the pump. Lift from below a pump is limited to 32ft on any form of water pump; that is the limit water will rise to with a total vacuum above it. A normal pump cannot pull a perfect vacuum so working lift will be somewhat less. The practical limit depends on the pump head in use and it's actual head limit; the total height from the pickup point to the delivery point count as working head. Any kind of centrifugal pump or one which cannot also pump air perfectly will need a foot valve at the base of the inlet pipe and a priming system to fill the pipe and pump body with water before the pump is started. If you expect the water level to be more than 10 - 15ft down, you would be better off with a submersible pump; the only limit then is the head rating which can be just about anything. Get a suitably rated petrol or diesel generator as well (3x the pump power rating) if it must operate independently of mains power.
Q:How to measure the temperature of pump body?
Pump body temperature in general, with the hands feel good, and when the hand arrived, can not accept, the pump will have a problem. Specific by their touch cooked.
Q:The flow of the pump will be reduced, the speed will change, the power of the motor will change?
Water pump flow rate, speed will not change, the power of the motor will change in general.Different types of pumps have different flow power curves. Only the most common centrifugal pump is used as an example to illustrate the relationship between the flow rate and other pump parameters. The typical centrifugal pump flow power curve is shown in the P-qv curve (red line) shown below.Turn left and turn right |According to the flow power curve, it can be seen that with the increase of the flow rate, the power increases linearly, and the power decreases linearly with the decrease of flow rate.In fact, the pump shaft power P= P gQH/ (1000 K), including H: head, unit m, Q: flow unit m3/s, ETA: for the efficiency of the pump, general 0.7-0.85, P: shaft power, unit kW, K: matching coefficient, small power is 1.25, P: work is like a water medium density. Therefore, for a specified pump, the power is proportional to the flow theoretically. In fact, as the flow rate changes, the efficiency of the pump changes, so it can only be close to the positive proportion.Running water pump speed generally depends only on the pump, power (motor, diesel, etc.) speed, the flow of water generally can not affect its speed. But in the design of pumps, the flow is related to the speed, and other design parameters remain unchanged, the pump speed is high, the pump flow.
Q:Water pump belongs to power equipment or mechanical equipment?
Ownership of mechanical power equipment in assets
Q:Pump pumping small is what happened?
You are lifting pump or submersible pump ah? Lift pump before pumping water pump, first open the pump and then open the outlet valve, and if there is no pressure, it is time to leave, the sealing performance is not good, check where leakage, and perhaps your pump is broken
Q:I would like a website that has pictures but any info would be helpful...
If its a 2003, you should still have a warranty on the powertrain unless its over 50,000 miles, or so. If indeed the water pump is leaking, you'd be foolish to leave it go; the timing belt can get wet, the belt and jump time and cause engine damage, that would be very expensive!! Save your self a lot of grief later by going ahead and replacing the water pump now; if you feel you're not up to the job, then have someone who knows VW's do it for you. Also replace the timing belt at the same time. An attempts to try and do a temporary measure will be met with an expensive result; a leaking water pump can also suck air into the cooling system and cause a hot spot, which could blow the headgasket, especially on a turbo model VW. Sorry, to tell you this, but its better to fix it now and save money, time, and pain later. I spent 25 years on/off in VW dealership service departments from 1980 till Dec of 2005. A car nut.
Q:My old pump burned up so i recently replaced it (with a refurbished pump) I have new pipe to the pump, new tank. my pump is a 1/2 hp 230v pump, I also replaced the control box. With my pump plugged in and the water coming straight out of the pipe bypassing the tank when I turn the power on I will get water for a minute or so then I won't get water for a minute. This will keep happening. I have checked the switch and when I quit getting water there is still power going to the pump. any suggestions or ideas? bad wiring or bad pump?...I know that there is water in thew well, the pump is located at 100 ft of a 115 ft well and i can see the water level about 10 ft underground.
Immediately I would suspect the referbished pump is not working properly. Unfortunately you will have to take it out and test it under the same circumstances you describe, but complete the system so the pump has some pressure to work against. Just running the pump with minimal pressure might not reveal the problem. Under working load the pump might be over heating (just enough to open a bad coil) and cause it to shut down till the coil cooled and made temporary reconnection. Good luck. )
Q:I'm not familiar w/ this model but need to swap out the water pump. I have no pictures or publications. Anything in particular to watch out for? Is this a pushrod engine w/ a water pump mounted in the front center of the engine and driven by a serpentine belt? Thanks in advance.
It's very easy to change. It's driven by a serpantine belt but it's off center Right up front closer to the radiator and on top. Break the 13mm pulley bolt's loose, remove the belt, remove loosened pulley bolts and pulley. Then there's like 6, 8mm bolts to remove the pump and that's it. You might have to remove the overflow tank to make it easier to get to. The pump is round and looks like it will go on any 'ol way but it doesn't. It only goes on one way.
Q:Where can I get a water pump housing for a 1987 Dodge Dakota, A junk yard?
Not sure what you mean by housing. Nobody is going to have just the housing. The entire Water Pump is available from Autozone, from $22 - $63 depending on type and warranty. The severe duty and new pumps are special order/available to ship. The standard reman is available in store, at my local store at least. Same pump as the 5.2L and 5.9L V8's. Can't be that hard to find. This is assuming of course, you have the 3.9L?
Q:There is a 5.5KW before the pump head is now 25 meters and flow of 20 cubic meters, but not up to the requirements, I think this is like with a motor pump, lift more than 20 meters, the flow is about 40 cubic meters of water pump, please inform the models and parameters, thank you
With the motor pump are pump according to the actual need of work with you in the head, under the same water doubled, the motor is certainly not enough, you should this motor pump change together in order to meet the requirements of.
