Structure

 1. The Silo Body

Include the wall plate, column, manhole, roof ladders and so on.

(1) The wall plate

Our steel is hot galvanized, which makes it durable and weather resistant. Our advanced bolts with spherical washer and the resisting-worn rubber are used to ensure the tightness

and using period.

(2) Column

The column, made by the Z-bar, is used to reinforce the silo body. It is connected by junction panels.

(3) Manhole and Roof Ladders

There are inspection door and ladders inside and outside the silo body. It is convenient and accessible for any maintenance work.

2. Roof

Roof is made up of radiated beam, roof cover board, tension ring, ventilator scoop, roof cap, etc.

The space age construction technology, which is adopted in the design of the silo framework, can ensure the stability of silo under the large span. There is a guardrail around the silo eaves and there is also a manhole on top of the roof.

3. Hopper bottom

Q:Why are silos painted with checkers at the top?
Because of low flying aircraft, crop dusters, etc. Also birds.
Q:I want to keep my pond low budget and i heard silo caps work, will they?
Anything that holds water works. Old bathtubs, whiskey barrels, pounded clay, concrete... If the cap holds water - go for it.
Q:Does anyone living in lake-county- lake bluff area knowIf the SILO is a COUGAR area.?Some told me that place was popular for PIZZA. and older womenLooking for younger guys.I would love to find me an older women.625 Rockland Road Lake Bluff, IL 60044Does anyone know if it is true, or just a cruel joke.?
Kevin Pang a writer for the Chicago Tribune recently wrote an article about the restaurant. I am sure if you go to the Chicago Tribune web site you could read the article. I am sure that the article did not mention specifically if it was a cougar area but I am sure you might get some hints from the article.
Q:A two-dimmensional, silo-shapped figure is formed by placing a semicircle of diameter 1 on top of a unit square, with the diameter coinciding with the top square. What is the radius of the smallest circle that contains this figure?
Draw a unit square (each side is 1 unit). Then draw a semicircle of diameter 1 on top of this, if you do this right the centerpoint of the circle will be at the midpoint of the top line of the square. Now draw a circle that goes thru the two lowest corners of the square the top of your silo, this is the smallest circle that contains it. Remember this doesn't have to be perfect to follow my explaination. Starting at the very top of the circle, draw a line straight down thru the top line of the square, but stop at the bottom line of the square. Label the top point of this line E, the mid point of this line F the bottom of the line G. If you've done everything right, the length of EF is 1/2 (the radius of the semicircle) and the length of FG is 1 (same length as the sides of the square). Pick a point on this line that looks like it's at the center of the circle (this should be between F G) draw a line out to one of the lower corners of the square. Label the end of this line at the center of the circle C the other end at the corner of the square H. Now we are done drawing. Since C is the center of the circle, we can see that CE is the radius of the circle. And CH is also the radius of the circle. So CE = CH. We can write an equation for each set them equal to each other. Lets say the distance from C to G is x, write an x next to it. Since FG = 1, FC is 1 - x, write that next to FG. So the length of EC = EF + FC = 1/2 + 1 - x = 3/2 - x. Now find the length of CH. Using the pythagorean theorum, we know square root of HG squared + CG squared = CH or CH = (HG^2 + CG^2)^1/2 = (1/2^2 + x^2)^1/2 = (1/4 + x^2)^1/2 EC = CG, so 3/2 - x = (1/4 + x^2)^1/2 Square both sides to get (3/2 - x)^2 = 1/4 + x^2 or 3/2^2 - 3/2x - 3/2x + x^2 = 1/4 + x^2 or 9/4 -3x + x^2 = 1/4 + x^2 or 9/4 - 1/4 = 3x or 2 = 3x, so x = 2/3 EC = 1/2 + 1 - x = 1/2 + 1 - 2/3 = 3/2 - 2/3 = 9/6 - 4/6 = 5/6. Your radius is 5/6 or 0.833333.

hi okorder
Q:My friend and I watched that nuclear war film THe Day After last night. He told me every U.S. state has nuclear missile silos or did during the Cold War.I have lived in every state on the Pacific Coast. I am not aware of nuclear missile silos in Oregon. Washington state had Operation Chrome Dome out of Fairchild AFB in Spokane. I do not know about California.BTW, I know there are many types of missiles that carry many types of warheads and not all of those missiles are fired from land or sea or air. Not all of the warheads are nuclear.
Your friend is mistaken. He misunderstood the comments from the film. Every state once had some sort of facility that belonged to the Strategic Air Command, everything from ICBM silos to bomber bases to training facilities. For example, in my home State of Georgia we had bomber and fighter air bases, both active and standby, that were on 24-hour alert status to 24-hour manned navigation / radar sites that were used for bomber training flights. Tell your friend to stop being a putz and go back and watch the movie again.
Q:It is the only way to keep Israel at bay, don't you think? Once mutually assured destruction is in place, maybe they will all behave and live in peace.
Iran funds and arms Hezbolalh and Hamas, don't talk to me about peace.
Q:I am no longer procrastinating and am writing down my FVII fan fiction and I can't come up with a name for the institution. I would really appreciate the help guys. Please And thank you~
SILO (and maybe make it an acronym for whatever you want [depending upon the type of story you're writing, and the type of mental institution*] to give it deeper meaning). *For example, is this institution a place where they help people, or a place of murder and death like some places in horror movies? Hope this helps :)
Q:Dynex, Apex, Silo Digital, Proscan, RCA, or Insignia?

Q:Suppose a cow is tied to a cylindrical silo of radius 2 with a rope which is long enough to go exactly halfway around the silo, so length of rope = 2 pi.what is the total area the cow can reach?
area is dA = 0.5 r? dΘ , Θ in [- π,π] , and r? = 2? + ( 2π - 2Θ)? r is the hypotenuse of the right triangle with adjacent being 2 and opposite being rope length - arc length of rope on the cylinder...draw the figure..you can certainly do the integration then subtract the area of the circle
