- Q:I would like to operate heavy equipment such as a dozer, crane, excavator, etc. All the jobs I have seen require experience, how do I lean to do this if everyone wants you to know how already? I have seen schools that you can go to but they charge $10,000 for a 9 week class, I cannot afford this and prob wouldnt pay that if I could afford it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
- IF you do not want to attend a certified school, (and I don't blame you) then your best option is to apply to the companies that do the type of work, get a spot as a laborer, and while you are in your interview, clarify what you want to do. (for yourself and for the company) Start out on the bottom, and find a mentor that will be willing to teach you, or get the company to send you to school. It is a great field to be in, so don't give up.

- YOu need to change some undercarriage? Usually You just rebuild it. With new parts of coarse. used parts on heavy equipment usually don't work out well.

- That is hard indeed. i had a pair for 2 years and they never ever mated. Substrate: Try to use the excavator burrowing clay. This is fairly easy to keep clean and if given proper care you should only need to clean it every 6 months. Another on is reptibark or a mixture of dirt and sand 4:1 (without fertlizer). Lighting: You should use a 5.0 UVB light. Like Repti-Sun 5.0. Try to keep the theme rainforest-ish. Don't use heat rocks because it will burn their stomachs. If using a ten gallon cage I recommend using a 25 watt spotlight as it is very weak and won't burn your lizards while still giving them the heat they need. Branches and hides can be placed in the tank. They will climb branches and these are good for basking. They will need the basking side to be of about 90 degrees and a cool side of 75-80 degrees. Other: Misting the cage once a day will keep them at a good humidity. Also give them a water dish that is deep enough for them to soak in. For feeding you can offer them mealworms, crickets, roaches, waxworms. They do not eat any vegetable matter. Clean the cage every 2 weeks.

- By and large you won't get a job as an excavator driver whilst on a working holiday visa. These visa's are designed for young people to visit our country and finance themselves whilst here by lightweight temporary employment. It is not a career move. Employers recognise this fact and are not, entirely realistically, interested in employing WHV people in employment such as this - particularly in today's economic climate. Re-evaluate your motives for coming here on a WHV before continuing.
