FAQ

What is the material for the basin faucet? Please know that friends talk to see.
According to the current understanding of the point of view, copper faucet is very good, such as pine lin basin faucet, on the one hand because copper has good machinability, mobility and formability, and electroplating after the nice, the other is copper ion Has a bactericidal effect, making it the most suitable "water" carrier.
I removed the faucet assembly from the bathroom sink/basin to replace it with a new one and it's completely yellowed underneath. It's not as bad as it was after I tried to clean it with the rubbing compound I would use on my car but still not gone.I have to get it all cleaned away because the new one is not the same shape at the base as the old one.Anyone here had experience with this and know the best stuff to use?
Chances are its from the pipe dope or plumbers putty that was used. Treat it like a greasy stain and use some baking soda, some cleaner like Greased Lightening or Blue Wolf. You can also try putting some hydrogen peroxide on it over night and covered with a rag or some plastic if its not granite or marble. Should clean up fine then. Good luck!
Master bedroom washbasin faucet how to install the washing machine tube
In the faucet below the water at the three links, and then split out a washing machine
i have two problems.1. water is leaking out from the cold faucet. I unscrewed the plastic cover, it looks fine, but i can see the water coming out from the iron thing. I suppose the only solution is the replace the whole thing? but the whole thing seems to be glued to the sink. 2. water is dripping down under the sink around this twisted plastic tube. ( i don't know the proper name for those things.) i can see mineral kind of things accumulating around one black plastic circle kind of thing. i think that this should be an easy fix, what should I buy? should just buy that one thing or replace the whole plastice tube, etc?thanks.
Unless this faucet is near and dear to your heart, just replace it. Be sure to replace it with a good one, because the cheap plastic ones only seem to last two or three years. Your faucet isn't glued to the countertop, it's just attached via two or three plastic nuts. You have to get directly below the faucet (where the water connections are) and you should see what you need to remove to get the old faucet off. There is a special wrench called a basin wrench that you can use or you can just use some pliers. They can be very tight and hard to remove though since you won't have much room. Be sure you turn the water off before you do any work....
Home basin faucet leaked, the arrow in the figure to see how to repair ah
The fastest way to change one
There is no way to directly from the basin leading to the water tank inside the bucket
From the outlet to install a three-way, the other tube to install the valve, I think you want to use water
Buy basin to pay attention to what?
Distinguish the faucet good or bad First look at the degree of light and the thickness of chrome, the surface the more smooth the better the better the quality. When turning the handle, there is no excessive gap between the faucet and the handle, and it is easy to open. Can not only high-quality faucet gap, a sense of resistance is also large. Leading material is the most bad to distinguish. Good faucet is the overall casting of copper, beat up the sound boring. If the conditions can be, the handle can be removed to check the copper inside. If you buy stainless steel faucet, beating crisp sound when beaten.
I just wanted to replace my kitchen sink but now that we have it in my cold water hose wont fit into the cold water valve.. they are both female ends. is there an adaptor i can use? do i have to replace the valve with a valve that has the right connection? and lastly what are these parts all called so i wont look like an idiot at the hardware store. thatnks for the help every one!
