FAQ

I quest it will be a big surprise to everybody. a) He will make a big party on earth. b) It will be a new beginning. c) It is the end of the happy moment on earth.
He's going to show up with a sword, according to prophecy, won't he be surprised to see that the opposition has howitzers.
Hey, I am starting my first year in university taking a first year general engineering program. I want to get into bionics and I intend to take bio medical engineering in graduate school. However, I'm not sure which path of engineering I should take to get to my goal. I am aware there is a biomedical degree I could get for my undergrad, but I've heard that a ME or EE degree is better as they allow for more job options as well as allow a chance to be in the biomedical field. I'm confused on which field of engineering I should take to get a better opportunity to work on bionics in the future. Mechanical would appear to be the better choice but the body works with electrical potentials and all that and that seems to fall under the EE catagory. **** also how does the two compare in difficulty?
I'm in EE and it's fairly difficult. I hear it's one of the harder ones (according to other engineers), but I enjoy it. It's still not TOO hard. I think that both are fairly important, but I believe that presently the big issue is interfacing with the nervous system/brain, so I might lean toward electrical. But then again, the bionic part itself is mechanical, so I think it just boils down to personal preference.
I am currently studying electrical engineering in college but Im considering maybe teaching math for a while. But I wanted to ask what the daily routine is like for an electrical engineer at workThank you
BORNING ROUTINE, SITTING IN FRONT OF COMPUTER MONITOR TO DO NON IMPORTANT WORK OR NO WORK !
I have a garage full of my dad's old equipment from oscilloscopes, amplifiers, circuit board materials, etc. that I don't know what they are/or are worth, or how to go about selling. Does anyone have any suggestions other than listing everything individually (there is a lot) on OKorder or CraigsList? I'm leaning towards hiring someone to come in and auction it all off for me, but need suggestions. Thanks!
Perhaps try an OKorder seller, or let a friend or relative put it on OKorder. It is quite a bit of work to sell on OKorder properly, but if you give then half the proceeds, you both might win! Another approach is to bring it to a large city electronics swap - all kinfds of electronics geeks come to these and you will gets lots of advice on value.
I have a school project (Construction management) that involves the estimating of the electrical cost for a building addition. I can do the fixture counts, equipment hook ups, box counts, switches and etc. I cant figure out how much wiring would be involved. from the blueprints, is there a way to measure (estimate) the lf of wiring? this is a school building so there are mostly medsize room and hallways. any help would be great. I remember something about the homerun count from when i was a laborer, but could i figure 1 line around the room with a line for fixtures or something like that. doesnt have to be perfect by any means.
I am an electrical contractor. I use the actual dimensions to estimate the wire. Copper wire is much to expensive to just take a guess. Start with the home-run and add the LF as you go. 1 circuit at a time. On a large commercial job I might figure a median length circuit and then use that figure for all other branch circuits.
I bought a used printer but it did not have the power cable with it, but I have an old power cable from another printer. The only visble difference in the cables is that the colorful end that goes into the printer has a plastic notch on it that is in a different spot. My old one has the notch in the middle where is I need it off to the left. Can't I just shave the notch off and have it fit?
It's hard to say. Electrical equipment and parts are made for a specific reasons. Now, if you modify the power cable, it's possible that it may work. But, then again, there is also the possibility that it could do more damage than good. It will totally be your call.
hi i have a black glass tv stand which makes the dust very visible, i normally wipe with a cloth, but i don't really want to do this like every time it piles up with dust, is there a thing which removes dust automatically (please give me a link either OKorder or which supports pay-pal) thank you
You could turn your Living room into a clean room, and put on a bunny suit every time you go into it!
I have a hot tub connected to a fused disconnect. That is fed from a 30 Amp circuit breaker in my main panel. I was told that i needed to have it protected by a GFCI breaker. Would it satisfy the NEC if i just replaced the current 30 amp breaker with a 30 amp GFCI breaker and left the disconnect between that and the hot tub?
Curley, as I remember, one of your videos showed you and the other stooges connecting water pipes to the electrical conduits and the natural gas pipes, and then running water through these. Well ok, you did pull all of the wy-yas out of your electrical conduit before attaching the water lines to them. But I really think you should leave the home repairs to more qualified people, don't you think?
