QTZ4808      FAQ

Q: What is the brand for the tower crane converter?

A: Normally, more than 10t series tower crane is equipped with converter. The selected converter includes SCHNEIDER, SIMENS, YASKAWA…it could be selected as per clients’ request.

Q: What is tower crane?

A: Tower crane is a modern form of balance crane that consist of the same basic parts. Fixed to the ground on a concrete foundation (and sometimes attached to the sides of structures as well), tower cranes often give the best combination of height and lifting capacity and are used in the construction site.

Q: What is the meaning of the tower crane’s code?

A: Take TC5013 for example, the first two letters “TC” means Tower Crane, “50” means jib length is 50 meter, and the last two letter “13” means the tip load is :1.3 ton.

Q: What kind of steel used for tower crane?

A: Normally, as for the main force bearing steel structure, Q345B is adopted; as for the assistance force bearing steel structure Q235B is adopted. All of the raw material is outsourced from qualified steel factory in China.

Q: What is the function of the monitor?

A: Monitor, namely inspection system (like black box), which could store 10000 tower crane operation reports, and it is recommended to be installed in big cranes more than 16t.

Q:I saw a picture of a oragami crane ring that was made out of money on a website but it diddint have any instructions on how to make it. I can already make the regular ring, but i would really like to try to make the crane ring does anyone know of any website that has instructions on how to make it??
I web-searched and found a picture which cited a Yahoo group as a source of further information. The group does *not* have an open archive. If you're interested in other money-fold projects, you may wish to consider joining that group. I'm listing a link for the group below.
Q:I alsways see projects where there are these massive cranes sitting on top of huge buildings...how they hell do they get them up there?
The big tower cranes you see on high rise structures actually....lift themselves. Their bases sit inside square lattice support structures and can climb them. When they get to the top of the structure they raise two more half squares that are bolted together around the base of the crane and the crane can then climb into the higher structure. The process is repeated until they get to the height limit of the crane. It's pretty amazing. Sometimes the crane base remains at the bottom, but sometimes, they close the floor below and remove the base that is no longer used, and just march the whole crane up the floors. Smaller cranes can be lifted by mobile cranes that go elsewhere, but the big ones use the method above.
Q:I've only read Hunger Games and watched the movie and noticed a large presence of Seneca Crane in the movie. However, I don't recall him being mentioned in the Hunger Games? Is he even mentioned in the Hunger Games? If so, please provide pages.I know he is definitely mentioned in Catching Fire but I haven't read that yet.
Yes he Is r u sure u read it I read it a year ago know my boyfriend is obsessed with them he insist on me calling him Peeta I even remember him
Q:The war is during 1899, and it's not the Spanish-American war. This isn't assignment, I'm just curious to know.
Crane was a war correspondent, and had reported on both the Greco-Turkish and the Spanish-American wars. I am surprised you are so sure this poem isn't about the Spanish-American war; I suspect it is about war in general - certainly including the two wars Crane had seen most copiously.
Q:Hi, considering joining a fujian white crane kung fu club, just looking for information on the internet. need videos and photos and descriptions about it. any links? thanks!

Q:Where you stand on one leg with your hands up and out to sides.Isn't standing on one leg in a fight leaving you exposed and vulnerable? What techniques can you actually do from that stance anyway (other than jumping up and kicking with the leg that was on the ground like the karate kid).
Kung Fu Crane Stance
Q:how is a tall crane constructed? how can they put the crane on top of its tall body frame?
They first construct the top of crane on the ground with help from other mobile cranes. This includes the long horizontal part with the operator's cab, and the concrete counterweight. this is then placed on a climber, with which the crane kind of builds and climbs itself to the necessary height. Every vertical section of the crane is placed in the climber. When the piece is in place, the climber climbs to the top of piece from where the next vertical piece is placed and so on. You can see how a crane is constructed in the website I've cited below:
Q:Well I folded 100 or so cranes from cheap origami paper (red, yellow, green and blue) before I decided that I could fold 1000 cranes a reality. My dilemma is, do I keep the 100 cranes I did and fold 900 of them to fulfill my wish? Or if I discard the 100 cranes and fold 1000, will my wish be granted on the 900th crane? The reason I want to discard the 100 cranes is because it's for my wedding and the color placement of the old cranes isn't fitting at all.Yes I'm aware it's not scientific or realistic, but it's more of faith, I'm not dumb.
Consider what you would like your 100 cranes to mean. Attach strings to your 100 cranes and then hang them in a tree etc so that the wind may carry your prayers where they need to go. Then start again to create the 1000 paper cranes you want for your wedding. PS: The making of the paper cranes involves an act of faith, not the right colour to match your wedding plans. In Japan, the crane represents peace and healing. When we consider the famous Japanese art-form of paper folding (origami) the crane comes to mind before all else. Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes (1977), a non-fiction children’s book written by American author Eleanor Coerr, tells the story of young Sadako Sasaki who lived in Hiroshima at the time of the atomic bombing. Sadako developed leukaemia as a consequence, and lived out the remainder of her short life in a nursing home desperately trying to create one thousand paper cranes. Supposedly, if someone could make a thousand paper cranes his/her wish would come true. Sadako wanted to live. Sadly, she only managed to fold 644 cranes. After her death, friends and family folded the remainder, and buried her with the one thousand paper birds. Today, a statue of Sadako holding an enormous golden origami crane stands in the Hiroshima Peace Park. People regularly leave paper cranes. The plaque on the statue reads “This is our cry. This is our prayer. Peace on Earth.”
Q:Tower cranes should stop working when the wind speed is greater than the magnitude.
Rules for safety regulation of tower crane,The installation of tower crane is strictly prohibited at grade 4 or above
Q:How do Crane Motors Work?
I'm not 100% familiar with this but this should be pretty close to the answer. Simple/standard crane motors work by applying power first through a rotating steel shaft into a gearbox. The gearbox allows the gearing ratio to be changed (to trade rotation speed for torque or torque for rotation speed). Another steel shaft carries the power out of the gearbox, again through rotation, to a spindle (think big thimble) around which steel cable is wrapped.
