A: there are trolleying mechanism/ slewing mechanism/ hoisting mechanism.
Q: What is the principal to quote the right tower crane to the client?
A: First, we need to know clients’ requirements. Normally the following information should be clarified by the client: max lifting capacity, height (height under hook), tip load and jib length.
Q: What is tower crane?
A: Tower crane is a modern form of balance crane that consist of the same basic parts. Fixed to the ground on a concrete foundation (and sometimes attached to the sides of structures as well), tower cranes often give the best combination of height and lifting capacity and are used in the construction site.

- Q: dimentions of crane rail, crane beam.
- What kind of crane? There are thousands of types.
- Q: what do sand-hill cranes eat-as far as planting a food source for them?
- Cranes eat fish so unless you know of a fish plant, I would put in a large pond with fish.
- Q: Okay, like a week ago I caught a daddy long legs (a crane fly) in my room with a mug and an envelope and I just left it there, when I removed it there were loads of little black dots on the envelope, I didn't really think about it cos I figured it was the coffee that was inside the mug or something. I got rid of most of them but didn't go out of the way if you know what I mean... And now there are loads of TINY little flies in my room. Could these be baby crane flies? Or something else? And if so how the hell do I get rid of them before they get huge and start reproducing all over again?!
- go to target and get a bug zapper its 2300 volts so when they hit the wires they are dead or spray poison in your room.
- Q: plz help me
- The Whooping Crane (Grus americana) is a very large crane. It is the tallest North American bird and the only crane species found solely in North America. Adults are white; they have a red crown and a long, dark, pointed bill. They have long dark legs which trail behind in flight and a long neck that is kept straight in flight. Black wing tips can be seen in flight. Immature birds are pale brown. Their breeding habitat is muskeg; the only known nesting location is Wood Buffalo National Park in Canada and the surrounding area. They nest on the ground, usually on a raised area in a marsh. The female lays 1 to 3 eggs. Both parents feed the young. Usually no more than one young bird survives in a season. Loads more on Wikipedia (link below) - good luck
- Q: when high rise buildings are built a crane is erected to lift iron and cement up. How do they erect these cranes?
- Construction cranes are erected on site. They are usually assembled on the ground with small cranes, then lift themselves up. The erection sequence is carefully figured, so minimal other equipment is needed. For conventional cranes that are permanent and thus only assembled once, portable cranes are used to erect them. Still, generally pretty much on the ground. Some have counterbalances that are permanently fixed, others have a rail type mechanism that moves in and out.
- Q: The story I'm writing that has Frank Crane in it is here. Is there a better name I could be using for the protagonist?
- I agree with the first poster that you are doing something very wrong. Rather than worrying about the name you may want to reconsider the gender.
- Q: why the new york cranes collapsed?
- Gravity, that's basically why all things collapse. With cranes you also tend to have the issue of them being overloaded also but at the end of the day it's still gravity that's the enemy. There is some talk of a supporting strut having been damaged by a piece of falling metal and the crane toppling as a result of that but it's the first time I've ever come across a piece of lifting equipment, and that's what a crane is, reliant on just one component to keep it standing up. Always remember that gravity thing is out to get you.
- Q: ?? Please star my ? i will give you points!
- Although I haven't seen it done I imagine that especially for very high cranes it's done most often with cables and winches (utilizing a pivot point at the bottom of the structure). For many lower cranes such as those found on vehicles hydraulic lifting is sufficient.
- Q: i have a female Doberman 4months old. running here n there, we spend time with her morning and night, four days per week we go to a big ground and walking with her more than a hour per day, is it adequate? she seems very happy and waiting for us on every evening (me and my wife) also i need an advice on her crane? i have put her in some what big (5ft 4ft) place beside my front door, not fully covered but well sheltered by the house roof/. is it ok to have an open crane like that?
- This is a little difficult since your spelling and syntax leave a lot to be desired. An open crate which I think is what you are referring to is usually not adequate unless you live in a very benign climate. Not too hot or too cold, not rainy or windy. Most dogs like a house or crate that is sized to them so they feel like they are in a small cave or shelter that they can defend from sneak attack by other dogs or even cats. Her short hair coat and dark color mean she needs to be protected from both too much sun and too cold weather. Temps below 40f. or above 90f she should have heated or cooled shelter or be in the house with you. If she is outside exercising in temps below 32f. she should have a dog coat and booties. Adding a good size solid wall crate to her shelter area will probably be plenty and it is a good idea to have her used to a crate in case she needs to be transported to a vet or stay in a kennel overnight in an emergency. Is she allowed in the house with you? At 4 months I doubt she is reliably house trained and that is something which should be accomplished easily in the next 2 or 3 months but it does require that there be someone home with her to take her out at least every 2 - 3 hours until she gets in the habit of holding it until she is let out. She is developmentally capable of that but needs to be taught. It sounds like you are spending quite a lot of time with her and getting her plenty of exercise and that is vital. Dobies are big lap dogs that like to be right there with you whatever you are doing and it seems like she has that too. Good luck and life with your dobe. They are one of my favorite breeds.
- Q: In the Bride comes to Yellow Sky, Stephen Crane uses symbolism to evoke in readers a sense of the “old west”. However, the knowledge of the “old west” that the average person holds in his or her mind is false and nothing more than a Hollywood created myth. By using the symbols inherent in Hollywood’s old western myth Crane manipulates the reader’s misconceptions only to leave them feeling stupid when he reveals a hole in that way of thinking with the irrational ending. This is actually a thesis i'm working on for an analytical essay on the piece.I need to know if anyone has ever read the story and gotten the same feeling Crane was having fun at the reader's expense or perhaps poking fun at the old western I have very good points from the text to support my thesis but i cannot find anything online that touches on the possability of this being a parody. Anyone else think Crane's having fun or is a bit condescending in this piece?
- I have to say no. Your question erred in a significant way. Hollywood didn't create this false image of the West. The false image was created a long time before by people living in the age of the incidents. It didn't take publishers long to notice that people living back East enjoyed these gritty depictions of the West. Dime novels were a big seller in the 18th and 19th centuries. Look at Stephen Crane. He died in 1900. Hollywood was non-existent as the facet of American life that it holds now. Crane would have been writing this story with the idea that he was depicting a real slice of the wild West that was becoming more civilized.
