1.    Structure introduction :

The boiler is a double-drum longitudinal natural circulation assembled water-tube boiler. The body is divided into two parts, the assembly body and the assembly grate. The combustion equipment adopts light chain grate, with stepless speed transmission device. The front, rear and two sides of the water-cooled wall are arranged in the furnace, and the water-cooled wall on both sides adopts dense tube bundles. The furnace is arranged with high and short front arch and low and long back arch, covering about 70 % of the length of the grate. The convection section uses a partition wall to fold the flue gas into three return journeys, and two ash removal holes are arranged. Cast iron economizer and heat pipe air preheater are arranged at the tail. The blower blows the cold air into the air preheater for preheating and then enters the inlet ducts on both sides of the boiler. It rises to the furnace through six independent grate air chambers. Each inlet duct is equipped with an adjustment door to make the air distribution adjustment on the grate simple.

The coal hopper is arranged in front of the combustion equipment, and the coal gate adopts a water-cooled cast steel serrated shape, which effectively increases the surface area of the coal seam and is conducive to the full combustion of coal.

The fuel enters the furnace combustion through the coal hopper device, and the high-temperature flue gas absorbed by the water-cooled wall of the furnace enters the cooling chamber. The flue gas is discharged into the cast iron economizer after heat exchange in the convection section, and then enters the heat pipe air preheater, and then passes through the dust collector. Finally, it is pumped by the induced draft fan from the chimney to the atmosphere.

2.Product features :

a. The heating surface of the assembled boiler body is arranged abundantly, the pressure rise is fast, the output is sufficient, the overload capacity is strong, the insulation layer is elegant, the heat loss is small, and the water-cooled wall is high aluminum light refractory brick, aluminum silicate fiber felt and rock wool, while the general manufacturers use concrete and perlite.

b. Grate adopts reinforced active grate, this kind of grate is specially designed for assembling boiler in our factory, pitch is 90 mm, width is 64 mm, the destructive test proves that the tensile strength of reinforced active grate is twice that of ordinary active grate, so as to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the grate.

c. The two sides of the main combustion zone of the grate are sealed by high aluminum heat-resistant ductile iron, while the general manufacturers are gray cast iron or ordinary hot cast iron.

d. Grate ventilation adopts independent sealed air chamber into the air on both sides, adjustable air device for grid adjustable air door, it is driven by umbrella gear rack and moving grid to adjust the wind, the grid all through the gold processing, so not only the operation is flexible and convenient, and through the cold state ribbon test, the uniformity of the adjustable air device in the width direction of the grate is very good, can well adapt to the needs of combustion, and the general manufacturers are used in the grate plate side plate open two holes butterfly adjustable air plate.

e. The ash falling device of the grate also adopts a push-pull grid ash falling device.

f. The bearing of the main shaft and the driven shaft of the grate adopts the double row short cylindrical adjustable bearing, while the general manufacturers use cast iron sleeve or copper sleeve.

g. The water-cooled serrated coal gate is adopted in the coal gate, which can not only loosen the coal seam but also increase the surface area of coal seam combustion, and correspondingly increase the coal-fired area of the grate. The practice in recent years has proved that the use of this kind of coal gate can make the coal fully burn. The use of different coal gates in the same boiler can obviously advance the burnout zone of coal by 500 ~ 1000mm, and the carbon content of slag is greatly reduced.

In summary, the assembled boiler of our company has unique characteristics. In 1989, the assembled boiler won the third prize of major scientific and technological achievements of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Machinery Industry. In 1997, the assembled boiler series won the first grade title of the Ministry of Machinery.


Q: it is used in power generation plant
In a conventional boiler, water is heated in the furnace area and then rises up to the boiler drum where the steam separates and passes to the superheater stages. Any remaining water returns to the furnace tubes. It is the difference in the steam/water density that causes circulation. In a supercritical boiler (above 3,200 psi or 221 bar pressure) there is no difference in steam/water density so circulation is provided by pumps. The steam/water change occurs in the furnace tubes eliminating the need for a boiler drum. Advantages are higher efficiency and quicker start up times. Boiler drums are very thick and have to be heated and cooled relatively slowly to prevent stress damage. Forgot to mention that, in a supercritical boiler, the evaporation takes place in the tubes thus the water only flows through once - a once through boiler. In a drum type boiler, any water in the steam/water mix is recycled, thus passing through more than once.
Q: What is the gas consumption of the 0.5 tonne gas boiler?
The general estimate can be estimated at 70 to 80 cubic meters per tonne.

Yes. The boilers were made of cast iron. The thermal shock of flooding them could easily fracture them and cause ruptures and explosion. Yes the boilers exploding could easily take out the side of the Titanic because the metal it was made of was very brittle. Paddle wheel steamers on the missippi were many times reduced to kindling wood from a boiler explosion. This is how Mark Twains brother died when the Natches blew up. A boiler explosion is a life changing event. The first one I saw was a mile away. If I had been closer I would not be here.
Q: and then turned off. It wont turn back on. I filled up the tank again, but still nothing. my landlord said I let the heat ran out and that the heater needs to get primed. I have no clue what that means. How often does a boiler system need to be primed, what causes it to need priming
Boiler is a semi-closed system. Once emptied, it will not fill all the way because of the air in the top begins to get pressurized and stops the water from entering. BE VERY CAREFUL, while doing this. Place a bucket under the overflow drain pipe if it is not run into a drain. On the top, where it comes out of the tank, should be a relief valve, little brass lever, open it and let the water run into the tank. Let it stand for a few minutes and do that again until all the air is out of the system. The water could be very hot. Run a load of warm water wash clothes, and try it once again, it should be primed by now, but test it anyway.
Q: I just had a new system put in 2 years ago. The heat worked last week, all of sudden, the circulator is making a humming/buzzing noise and my heat is not working. I follow the pipes and the water comes in cold, goes through the boiler, the pipe is then HOT, but then it connects to the pump, and the circulator and by that time, the pipes are cold. The circulator is also making a humming/buzzing noise. I've tried to reset the circuit breaker, but that hasn't fixed the problem. Please help...its getting cold up here in the northeast!
First make sure that the boiler is under pressure, should have a gage somewhere and about 12 LBS and no air in the system. If it's humming/buzzing it may be turning but needs water pressure. If that's not it hopefully there are isolation valves on either side of the pump for removal. If not you will need to drain the system down to remove the pump. I would be ready with a new pump if needed.
Q: furnace boiler overheating ? Please help !!!?
there so many type of furnaces you never told us what kind you have. if its just hot water furnace you have got something blocking the draft door when it tries to close or if the ashes seals the bottom to make it air tight you may be removing too many ashes when you take them out. you shoukld not try to heat the water hotter than 185 degres if you set water temp any higher it will over shoot and boil the water. i hope this is the type you have and good luck

Q: There is an overflow pipe (I'm assuming - its a small pipe that goes through the wall from the combi boiler and into the yard) it used to just drip occasionally however it's now pouring with water. Whenever the heating is put on the water is gushing out of the pipe like a tap. Has anybody got any ideas what this is. Thanks.
Its the relief valve. Either your boiler pressure is over 30 pounds or your relief valve is leaking by. Check your boiler pressure is about 12 pounds its. Change the valve

essentially, the boiler room is about a group of guys running a scam. what they do is buy penny stocks. these are stocks that don't trade often enough or don't have a lot of shares to trade or aren't very expensive. anyway, these guys buy shares of a company that's about to announce some news, and then they try to sell off their shares when their customers are buying say they bought company X for $1 - they tell their customers that company X is going to jump in price soon and convince them to buy. the minute their customers and more people start buying, they dump their shares for a good profit. because these shares don't often trade, when people start buying the price goes up. fabricating rumors about a small company and getting people to invest money into a stock like this is a quick and easy way to make money. unless you're the last person trying to sell left holding shares when nobody wants to buy it. by the way, this is illegal - which is why the Feds were after them. good con guys find people with money and have them invest small amounts that make good returns. then, when they have their customers' confidence, they convince them to make a big investment in another sure thing - which of course is that time they make a killing and their customer goes broke. hope this helps explain the movie a bit.
