Poly Solar Panels 250W is designed for large electrical power requirements. It is the optimal choice for both on-grid and off-grid power systems. Solar panel offers high performance of power per square foot of solar array. Poly Solar Panels 250W of Monocrystalline silicon(c-Si): often made using the Czochralski process. Single-crystal wafer cells tend to be expensive, and because they are cut from cylindrical ingots, do not completely cover a square solar cell module without a substantial waste of refined silicon. If you have interest in Poly Solar Panels 250W ,please contact us!

Q: We are considering getting solar panels for our home just south of Birmingham, AL. We know a little and are trying to educate ourselves the best we can. But we are having a hard time finding anyone around this area. We have done the yellow page thing, and some quot;green places around town. But to no luck.....
Any electrical contractor could likely install them, and there are several Internet businesses that sell solar panels. You likely have no place there to get the kind of large panels you need for a house. Look at your local regulations. Your utility may not allow grid-tie, so you may have to set up an off-grid system with batteries and use separate wiring or a transfer switch. One thing a lot of people neglect is hail protection. In Birmingham, you're likely to have large hail (larger than golf ball size) every couple of years in the spring. You need to work out a way of covering them in advance of severe weather. Most panels will take up to golf-ball size hail with no problem. DK PS, I've done this myself, and have considerably more information. Email if you're interested.
Q: What are the different applications for solar panels for residential use? How many should I purchase if the avg panel produces 80 watts .
For a starter you would look at how many watts you use. And how deep in you want to go. 80 watts at 2volts dc is nice.. But getting it to 20 ac. You will need a good inverter, battery's. There is things that you can replace in your house that will run on 2 volts. Lights fans. But to answer your question you would first have to look at what you use or and what you want to change over. I have got 900 watts of panels and 2700 Amp hours of battery's on one system. That will run all my lights computers and TVs Also on this I have converted a ups for the 20 VAC. I have been working on this for 0 plus years with no plans to finish. ( there is no end for what you can do with the power of the sun)
Q: Lower solar panel/wind turbine prices allow wider applications, hence a great help to a greener mother earth!
“the living feed the dead” -- may have actually lucked into the answer. The government does assist the petroleum industry and it funded the research that gave us nuclear power. If alternative energy is going to work, it may require intervention by the government in terms of access to land (imminent domain) and to the transmission grid. Alternative energy companies are stuck because of their own paranoia (of industrial espionage) and because they are being gouged by land owners. A single wind turbine on your land can net you $70,000 a year (plus a 0% increase per year for inflation), forever. Then there is the cost of the corridor to access the grid. Solar companies are trying to purchase land like drunken sailors – and landowners in areas where solar can be most effective (e.g., the American Southwest) are hip to what is going own. So when acquisition agents call to purchase land, owners are demanding outrageous prices (say $5,000/acre for land that is worth about $00/acre, otherwise). Then there is the fact that nobody (rich or poor) wants one in their backyard, not to mention the various PAVE (People Against Virtually Everything) groups who protest stuff just because they can. ===== A Modest Proposal -- <<0% inflation rate is an extremely high You are, of course, right. Nevertheless, that is what some Wind Energy companies are offering land owners as part of the lease agreement for placing turbines on their land. I agree it's outrageous, but I'm an environmental consultant for several Wind companies and I know what they are offering. As a side note. They were initally so lame (and this is related to their general paranoia) that they cut deals to place the turbines before they secured corridor access to substations. When they subsequently approached the land owners (the same ones with the turbines on their land) about the corridor, they were held hostage for outrageous money - as in millions of dollars - because by then the land owners had them over a barrel.
Q: Can solar panels be installed on convention centers or event venues?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on convention centers or event venues. In fact, many convention centers and event venues have already adopted solar energy to reduce their carbon footprint and reliance on traditional energy sources. Installing solar panels on these facilities not only helps generate clean and renewable energy but also showcases their commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Q: How much does it cost to replace a solar panel?
The cost of replacing a solar panel can vary depending on several factors such as the size, type, and quality of the panel, as well as any additional installation or labor costs. On average, the cost can range from a few hundred dollars for a small residential panel to several thousand dollars for a larger commercial panel. It is always best to consult with a solar panel installer or supplier to get an accurate estimate based on your specific needs and requirements.
Q: How much sunlight is needed for solar panels to work?
Solar panels can work with any amount of sunlight, but they are most efficient when exposed to direct sunlight for at least 5-6 hours per day.
Q: I have four power packs for solar lights. They have 3 AA .2volt batteries of 2450 mAh capacity installed in series for a total supply voltage of 4 volt maximum for the lights. I want to charge all four packs at once off a single 6 volt solar panel. With the four packs wired in parallel, what capacity output (wattage) panel do I need to charge the batteries in an 8 hour day?
3 cells in series makes a 3.6volt 2.4AH battery. You multiply the volts but not the capacity. In parallel would be .2volts, triple capacity. So 4 packs in parallel is 9.8AH. Rule of thumb for charging a flat battery is divide capacity by 0 for amps and charge for 5 hours. amp at 6 volts is doable, that would be 6 watts People who make batteries and solar cells usually over-rate them so I doubt that a solar panel of less than 20 watts rating will fully charge these batteries if they are flat. I'd google to see how you might control the charge current with a simple circuit.
Q: so...do you think an online store dedicated to selling solar panels/systems will be a good business idea? Since green energy is the 'hottest' growing business area recently with usage growing about 30% per annum and investors putting all their money into solar energy, wind farms, biofuel, etc. I think when you sell solar systems online this will be the most appealing business model to the end customer...especially if you offer free installation on orders of say $000.
It's that offering installation that is the problem. Do you have the ability to arrange contractors to install where ever the customer may be? The online store model works best on a drop ship model where once you've shipped the parcel, you're done. Online selling of solar panels would be basically to the DIY crowd and as you've said, most people don't have the skills nor the enthusiasm to install them. The current price per watt installed is about $0 a watt. $ per watt are the organic dye and film solar panels which are horrendously inefficient and require much more square footage and that $ per watt price is before installation. Currently solar depends a lot on government subsidies to be worthwhile. The various green energy technologies (both solar and wind) lack the economics to be anything other than greenwashing and often if you consider the total impact to the environment, they are often worse than fossil fuels and even if the environmental impact of their manufacture is neglected, it's hard to compete with fossil fuels where nature has done all the work of storing solar energy in a convenient hydrocarbon form. Of course, there's still money to be made off people's ignorance. You've already asked this question several times, apparently you're not satisfied with any answers that are counter to your hopes. Why don't you try it and see how far you'll get.
Q: Ok, so my homework was to research and write about how solar panels and solar furnaces work and about their construction. We didn't even take one lesson on it in class and we are not allowed to copy and paste much and have to keep it simple wtf? Its soo annoying as we have hardly took it in class. Please can someone help.
A solar panel (photovoltaic module or photovoltaic panel) is a packaged, connected assembly of solar cells, also known as photovoltaic cells. The solar panel can be used as a component of a larger photovoltaic system to generate and supply electricity in commercial and residential applications. Because a single solar panel can produce only a limited amount of power, many installations contain several panels. A photovoltaic system typically includes an array of solar panels, an inverter, and sometimes a battery and interconnection wiring.
Q: Are there any risks of fire associated with solar panels?
Yes, there are some risks of fire associated with solar panels. While solar panels themselves do not catch fire, there have been incidents where electrical components, such as faulty wiring or inverters, have caused fires. However, the risk is relatively low and can be mitigated by proper installation, regular maintenance, and adherence to safety codes and standards.
