- Q: Well...My xbox seens to be a falcon with 65nm...the cable is diferente, the intercooler have a little hook at it, but the power cable dont. and i cant plug it.I'm think about broke the intercooler hook to be able to plug the pwoer cable. but i'm afraid if will have any problem about voltage or something.anyone help? thank you...brazilian kissis
- The intercooler is useless on the Falcon 360s. You don't need it because the Falcon 360 don't run hot enough to need it.
- Q: I just got a cheap intel i3 custom pc build on OKorder. But, i have no idea on how to set up all those PSU cables and the fans and everything else (seller thought it was a great idea to unplug every cable inside, which led to me turning on the pc assuming everything was good to go which led to the cpu overheating after turning it on) But anyway, i need to know how to setup the psu cables. My PC looks like a mess with all those cables jumbled up together. There are 4 distinct think cables sticking out from the PSU and all the other cables come from the case or the fans. Some of the cables come with numbers (1, 2, 3) and some are already plugged into the mobo, so i don't want to touch those. How to do this?
- CD/DVD drives and hard drive all use the same power connectors (multicolored), so plug them in whichever way you want. There is no specific order. Don't remove any ribbon cables, and if you wish to have a floppy drive, the power cable is slightly smaller than normal ones. Commonly, fans can be plugged in to any port on the motherboard as long as they reach without straining the cable. They can only be inserted one way and are likely three-prong so it should be easy. The numbers on your cords don't matter.
- Q: So I was trying to run wiring for a 220 outlet and I hit a lower leg with the metal cable snake, now a bunch of outlets loose power for a minute or two ever so often, 20 min give or take. What can be the cause? Only the top breaker tripped. How can this be repaired. Please help.
- When you say lower leg I am assuming you hit the bottom part of a buss in the breaker box. You arced the buss. Pull out the breakers that the outlets are on. Make sure you turn off the main before doing this, or you may fry your brain too. Look at the buss that the breaker is attached to. Is there a small black spot? If so, you need to clean it up and replace the break. I metal finger nail file works great to clean it up. You may have bumped the grounding bar and loosened up one of the wires there. That's also easy to do inside the breaker box. If you simply hit the lower leg of an outlet, the wire simply got knocked loose in that outlet and it is effecting the outlets that it branches off to. If this is the case, you should know how to fix that if you know how to use a snake. Though you should be using a vinyl snake on live wiring.
- Q: My mother has moved to Australia, taking her Fujitsu Siemens (Amilo model) laptop with her. Very shortly after, her power cable stopped functioning, and she would like a new one. Unfortunately, she is not tech-savvy at all and doesn't seem to be able to find the thing online, and I being from Europe, have trouble searching in her stead. I don't even know what an Australian plug looks like and I have no clue regarding the currency...All and any help is much appreciated.
- Just get a small plug adapter in Australia. That will be cheaper than buying a whole new power cable.
- Q: Will that work, just get the new country's type of power cable? its a 4gb 360 slim
- depends on what country you're going to
- Q: power cables for 3 phase wire
- Three wire, single phase, 120V uses: line (usually black), neutral (always white), and ground (green or green with yellow stripe). Three wire extension cords should be sized for the estimated load in Watts, and the length of the cord. Armored cable for interior wiring must be #AWG14 minimum. Add details for a better answer.
- Q: power wont tuurn on from my amp there is power in the cables and i checked all fuses and wires there good to go nugga
- I know you said that you checked your fuses, but there are fuses on the amp itself. You may want to check those too. Don't know if you did that already, but something to keep in mind. Does it go to the red light? safety mode? In that case, it may be fried and you may need to find a local stereo shop that can fix it.
- Q: I recently purchased a Nvidia 8300gs for PCI-E x16.I know that not all graphics cards need a power cable but i'm going to buy one partially because the seller said PCI-E power cable required so is this a common item? would i be able to pick one up at best buy?
- A 8300gs does not need power. Anything over a 8600gt needs the external power connector.
- Q: And can u please explain in detail how u get xbox live i dont want any free survey things just like do i have to buy a card how much it is do i need extra cables? ok thx!
- Sometimes the live cards go on sale at Target
- Q: i know i need the sata cable and power cable is that all i need
- Yep, that's all you need. Some older SATA drives have legacy support for normal 4 pin molex connectors in addition to the SATA power cable. If your drive is one such, do not plug in both. Choose one or the other. If you buy a retail boxed drive instead of OEM, you should get a 4 pin molex to SATA power cable if you don't have SATA power connections already. It's also possible that the harddrive you bought is SATA2 (aka SATA 300gbps). If your motherboard only supports SATA 150gbps, there's a jumper you need to leave on the drive. If you have a SATA 300 drive and your motherboard supports SATA 300, you'll need to remove the pin for full speeds. It'll work though if you forget to remove it. You can look in the user's manual to see what your motherboard supports.
