- Q:I ordered the Data Transfer Cable for Xbox 360 Hard Disk Drive, but the software it came with doesn't seem to allow me to back up individual pieces of content that i have. I have a 120 gb hard drive from my current xbox, and a 20 gb hard drive from my previous hard drive. Apparently it is designed to copy stuff to your hard drive, but i really just want to copy all the rock band songs and large saved games to my new hard drive. Can any help out with this? - No because the cable wipes the original drive and moves everything to the new one. To move or copy specific items, you need to use a memory card or if you have the latest update from Xbox Live, you can use a flash drive.

- it is impossible to tranfer files from you box to your computer without the tranfer kit unless you have a modded xbox. but to my knowledge all HDD purchased from a legit supplier will come with the transfer kit or at least they do here in Canada

- You will need a router so you guys have have multiple workstations hanging off your DSL modem. Get a Linksys Wireless router and you can use that to connect your laptop to the Internet via a wireless connection. If you want to connect it using a data cable go to the store and ask for a CAT 5 cable. it can be used to connect your laptop to the router via the RJ-45 port (the connector will look like a large phone cord connector). - Found this over at Howardforums, but havent seen it here, so thought would let you guys in on it . Have translated and provided pics in english This will *only* work with a serial cable, ie no usb/irda. First up, you need to create a new network connection as shown in the diagrams below: Click on 'Properties' It will ask you to specify who has the privileges to use the connection - choose which ones you fancy (at least yourself and administrator tho!) Once the connection has been created, right click on it and ensure that the COM Port tick box is ticked, then in the users tab ensure that allow Palmtop computers to connect without a password is also ticked. And thats the connection sorted. Then you need to download the Uploader at malschaun.at.interims.de/Uploader (be sure to save target as) After this, enter the code to enable Serial Java download - #*536963# It should display something like serial enable, others disable or similar. Then enter the code #*5737425# and select *once* option 1, PPP UP (only once, otherwise the phone will reset) . The screen should flash white for maybe 1/2 a second. Fire up the uploader software then load the Midlets you want into it. Finallly select option 2 Serial Download from the #*5737425# menu and the download should begin. Enjoy!!

- You need both: One to transmit power (peripherals 4p), and one to transmit data (SATA). Get an Internet access? Well this you to get a broadband contract from ISP's.
