- You cannot do this. Do Not try or you risk destroying the devices. I suggest that you get a software product called Data Pilot. This is a product created to interface various phone brands and PCs. It comes with the software tools and an assortment of Phone-to-USB connecting cables. It isn't free, but it's cheaper than screwing up your devices.

If you're using Windows Media Player, it will usually try to create its own folder, which your phone will not recognize.
