- You can absolutely save music onto your microSD card and then insert it into your phone. Just make sure when save the music on the drive, make sure it saves it into my_music folder on the card. If you're using Windows Media Player, it will usually try to create its own folder, which your phone will not recognize.

- usually not. In most homes phone wire contains four conductors (but may contain more in new buildings and upgraded installations). Data cable is always 8 conductors, each two conductors are twisted together to minimize noise on the wires (to increase the integrity of your data during transmission). So data cables need special jacks and receptacles to accommodate the eight wires. You can buy the cable at home supply stores, in my area there's a separate aisle in the electrical dept for it. However I suggest that you look around and find someone who KNOWS how to terminate the cable, because you need to know how before you attempt this, and your question tells me you don't know. - Q:Hi,I am really angry. I was foolish and have bought a ?5 data cable for my X640. I follow the instructions to the end and it says it installs. Afterwards, it says the software requires you to restart your computer for it to work. I do this and when i open up Device Manager, there is a little yellow exclamation mark next to COM 8! I open up properties and it says 'This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)'I cant see how this works. It said it was installed and it used the drivers that came with the cable! I carry on and install EasyStudio PIMS File Manager and i select COM 8 and it does not work. The i chose every number port and number sequence. It STILL stays offline. I am really losing myself here! Can anyone please enlighten my and tell me why this is happening. I have tried every port and uninstalled and reinstalled and the same thing happpens :-(Please help,Tom.
- Go to the website of the product search for updates or see if there's any conflicting issues that the cable has with anything in your pc.You might want to get the original drivers from the website,too see if re-installing the drivers that way helps.

- Shur, just connect the device to a powered up PC and it will be charging. The device does not need to be powered up. Hope that helps.

- The transfer cable transfers data, not copies it. The first hard drive is wiped clean except for the data needed for it to work with an Xbox 360. If you want to copy data, you will have to use an Xbox 360 Memory Card or a Flash Drive (the second one is only possible if you have the spring update for Xbox Live).

- That's just a telephone cable. Believe it or not, phones used to be tethered to the wall with a cable. There was no such things as cell phones.
