- Did you try the sony website? I lost the charger for my camcorder that I bought about 4-5 years ago. I got a replacement for it on the sony website. No store carried the charge batteries in the camera charger, so I went directly to the source. I needed this type of charger because it's also the ac adapter. Even if it's a couple years old, give sony shot.

- If you download/upload more than 3,3GB every day, it's not enough. For example streaming uses a lot of bandwidth, and if you do it for hours, it's a large amount of data.

- Q: I bought 100ft of cat5e ethernet cable. I will not be using it for ethernet but my own circuits that I built. 3 lines will be used for leds, the other 4 will send parallel data to a logic circuit. 1 for gnd. - No problem at all, CAT5e is good for about an amp. It is used at 48v in 'Power-over-Ethernet' applications (PoE). I would suggest that if you can, put your voltage regulator (if you've got one!) at the far end (the end to be powered) of the CAT5e run - you will be affected less by cable impedances and fluctaution caused by differing return currents (from LED's). Also, lower the impedance of your logic signals (perhaps use some 4K7 resistors on the logic inputs) to reduce the risk from static or induced currents/voltages.

- Are you sure you have a crossover Ethernet cable? Check to make sure its not a phone cable. Attach one end of it to your desktop, and the other end to your laptop. You can use Windows Easy Transfer, or just transfer the files using Network. Make the files you want to transfer Public so that the other PC can see it, then start transferring. If it really is a crossover Ethernet cable, just plug it into the wireless router, and the other end to the PC you want connected to the internet.
