Control Cable
Introduction
Control cable include PVC and XLPE insulated control cable, flame-retardant control cable and high-temperature resistance control cable. The control cable is mainly designed for controlling, monitoring circuit and protective lines with AC rated voltage U0/U of 450/750V and below. It is used to interconnect electric advices and instruments between electrical equipment.
Characteristics
1. Power frequency rated voltage Uo/U :450/750V or 0.6/1KV
2. The permissible long-term maximum working temperature of the cable conductor is 70 ℃.
3.Cable laying ambient temperature should not be less than 0 ℃, if the ambient temperature is below 0 ℃, the cable should be preheated.
4.The recommended bending radius for cables is as follows:
No armored cable, should not be less than 6 times the cable diameter;
Armored or copper tape shielded cable, should not be less than 12 times the cable diameter;
Shielded flexible cable, not less than 6 times the cable diameter.

- Q:I have a Synergy V remote from Time Warner Cable and a Memorex tv, for some reason it stopped controlling the cable so I had to re-enter the cable programming code, ever since then when I try to turn up the volume the tv menu(for brightness etc) pops up. I can't control the volume at all. we had this problem before but it just fixed itself one day after the Time Warner Tech was here( he even said he had no idea how it suddenly worked) I've tried tons of codes for my tv and tried programming it to let the cable control the volume, nothing works, please help! (Also have tried searching for tv codes instead of entering them!)
- It sounds like you programmed it for a similar TV but but not exactly the right one. Just because the power button works does not mean it's the right code. Try all the codes for your TV brand. Oh and be sure the batteries are fresh.
- Q:Fan blows, radiator in car is getting hot. There appears to be a valve that switches the coolant off and on next to the firewall that moves freely when you remove the control cable. The heater core is not leaking inside the car. A couple of times when the car was started on cold mornings the heat did come on briefly, but beyond that, it does not work. We live in South Lake Tahoe, it is snowing like crazy and we do not have the money to pay someone to diagnose this. If I knew what it was, I could probably fix it my self. We have to scrape the ice off of the inside of the windshield just to see (barely). If anyone knows what the problem is, help would be greatly appreciated.
- Check that your coolant level is full, that would be my first step. You may have a plugged heater core, feel the 2 hoses going into the firewall and see if they are both hot, If so you may have a Blend Door stuck on cold. There is cables from your heater control going to the blend doors mixing the air, one may be stuck or unhooked. I hope this helps.
- Q:I need to run 4160V feeds to some power vaults. Each Power vault requires three power feeds, a ground and a control cable. I've got existing 4 conduits.but I cannot find a cable small enough and think I need to retrench and run new conduit to at least 5, maybe 6 Anyone got a miracle solution ?

- Q:I mean seriously why does this faction of the government still exist, there still about 10 years behind the times and when ever a good movie come on cable it gets completely ruined. If you ask me the FCC should be disbanded and we create a new much much smaller entity that only governs electrical devices.
