Thanks.: Have you checked the belt, looked for a clog somewhere? You do need to do maintenance on them now and then! You can take it to a vacuum repair shop too. If you really want a good vacuum, go to a vacuum repair shop or a vacuum cleaner dealer store. None of them at the discount stores are worth a darn! Find something with a metal fan blade, instead of plastic, and a commercial model would even be better. It will cost you more initially, but in the long run it will not need to be replaced for years!!! I cleaned houses for 14 yrs. 5 days a week 3-4 houses a day, using the same vacuum cleaner!!!
