Q:For the last couple of days I have felt super sick like I was about to throw upI know it's my period because I have the other symptoms (cramps, mood swings, ect)Can dramamine help with the nausea?

Q:I'm new to hiking, thinking about buying hiking clothes,i've this question does breathability lowers insulation? since if water vapour can escape, then your body might lose heatBecause there seems to be jackets which r both breathable yet keep warmth, i'm a bit confused
you guys are lucky anywaysi live in rural area and no one lives around herethe whole summer i do nothing because there's no one to hang with.
Q:ok so this summeri had an eating problem and i lost a few pounds and got down to a decent size 2 in shortsmy parents found out i had this eating problemand i now ive gained weightso the end of march im going to florida and my shorts are a little tight.all this week and last i have worked my butt off and been eating healthy like my counselor said to but i still cant fit into them, idk if im bloated or wat but should i give up on the shorts or just make my diet more restrictive?
Well horses get really thick coats in the winterSome people blanket their horses and some don'tEither way your horse isn't going to be coldHorses can grow up to 2 inches of fur depending on the weatherI usually leave my horses naked and if they are shivering than i give them a blanket(mostly at night) Blanketing your horse and leaving them outside can be dangerous to rain rot and other issuesBut you can get some water resistant blankets or even a spray that will keep the water outIf you do have your blanket on than yes i would brush your horse every once in awhileIts not needed everyday necessarilyBlanketing also keeps your horse clean and shiney if your horse is going to be shown in the winterBut if you choose not to have a blanket than its totally fineI just keep a back-up one incase we get a rather colder night than usual:) i hope this helped! its a very good question to ask because people think that they HAVE to blanket their horsesGood luck!
Q:I'm using my bamboo needles to knit a sweater with some cheap yarn (Caron One Pound) and the dye is staining the needles a bitIs there a way to clean them without damaging them?
You could try a bit of wood soap, but in general once the fibers are stained by dye it would need to be sanded out, which removes the finish and leaves the needle vulnerable to splintering and snagging the yarnUsually crocking dye is not transferred from the needle onto other yarns, though, so you probably don't need to worryIt will wear off eventuallyBTW, if you use wood soap (something like Murphy's Oil Soap) make absolutely sure that you use more than enough toweling to remove all residue from the needles when you are drying themThe oil in the soap will do more to stain your yarn than the dye that has penetrated the needlesAnd this happens with all types of yarn if the dye comes off, although it is unusual for it to happen with even the cheapest of acryllic yarns, since acryllic is dyed when still in liquid form before the fibers are extruded.
Q:I thnk the above says almost all - What should I put under the floor to best reduce draught at not a high costThank you for your anticipated helpful advice.
You dont normally put anything UNDER the floor as Hot air rises, you need to put a good underlay and carpet or underlay and laminate.
Q:We purchased a VERY Old house (1921) and everything is ok on it so far, we updated almost everything inside and out, we even have a brand new A/C unit, my question is: Why the AC runs all the time?, i know that when is 100 degrees outside you can't help it but i think it's not right to be running for like 30 minstops for 5minand starts again, is this ok?, i know is not! but can someone give me some advice?, the last thing i did was cellulose in the attic (like 10quot;), the ceiling is 9 feet tall, we have ceiling fans all over the house (ac is 2,5 ton) , BUT!, the last thing i saw was THE WALLS!!!, they are about 3 inches thick!!!Since it's a wood frame, stucco on the outside, and 1/2 inch new drywall and that's IT?, can THAT be the problem on why we can't keep the house COOL?, no leaks on windows (brand new)Can i add 2x4 studs, insulation and then another layer of drywall to make it feel better???, what's the solution here??? Thanks for ALL the help.
there are lots of things that it could beI'd start by checking the ducts in the atticYou may have duct leaksIt's not just the supply air (cold air into home), but the return air as well (warm air being brought to a/c unit to be conditioned)Keep in mind that your air conditioner will only change the air temp by about 18-20 degrees compared to what is coming into itExIf your home is 90 degree when you turn on your a/c, the air coming out, will only be about 70 degrees, no matter what your thermostat is set onIf your home is 80 degrees and your attic is 120 degrees and your return is leaking, sucking 120 degree air into it, that will affect your temp splitYou may not be getting the same 20 degree split between indoor home temp and supply air tempThis would make your a/c run constantlyMost local power companies will come out and do a duct checkAlso, there are other areas besides windows where warm air can invade the homeEx: holes in ceilings for fans, lights, ducts, etcStart by having your local power company out to do some checksThere may be a small fee, but often you receive discounts from the power company for local contractors to repair problems.
Q:Remove musty smell from an old quilt?
You can't wash itYou'll ruin itNo water at allAsk anyone who has washed a man's tie what happened to the tieJust air it outI'd do it in the sun on a windy dayThe sun will do NO harm for 4-6 hoursThe other option is to ship it to a fabric conservator for complete repair.
Q:Almost every time after I eat a meal I have to go 2, and I use to think it meant I have a high metabolism, but I'm chubby so I don't think it's that lolDoes this mean my body produces a lot of fiber? (I don't eat those special fiber foods)What are the benefits and bad things about this?
You've already learned that fiber is part of our dietThere are two possibilitiesSome people receive a signal from the digestive system after eating that it is time to get rid of solid wasteOrdinarily people this occurs with are regular weight or thinThe other possibility is that your digestive system is working very slowly and filling the stomach pushes food and waste all the way throughIf this is the case it is very unhealthyIt is normal for the stomach to empty completely in 5-6 hours so there is plenty of room for new food/energyThe average adult American has eight meals in their digestive systemFive more than they shouldSo even though you are young that could be part of the problemTry to add lots of fiber to your diet starting with a high fiber breakfast cereal of 20% of RDA of fiberOr oatmealThis will kick start the metabolism and hopefully move your only bowel movements to the morningSearch high fiber foods and eat thoseGood luck.
Q:I've never been able to blow my hair straight properlyUsually I just use a comb and the blow dryer and just sort of work through it until i recently learned that a proper brush actually makes a difference so I went to buy a brush but I got so confused with all these options ceramic, anti bacterial, bristle brush, nylon brush, holes, no holes.etc! Can someone help me please? are there any known brands? what should i look for in a brush??thx!
i have biracial hair too 1i use to get it really straight is a straightening shampoo and conditioner.this really helps start off the straightening process(dangerously straight by herbal essences) 2i then apply a straightening cream by the bran CERAMIC SILK called thermal protection in a red bottle.available at sallys.( or any other straightening cream) 3i then blow dry it( sectioning my hair into pieces) with a IONIC blow dryerusing a CERAMIC bristle brush3the after you've blow dryed ur hair.section it then straighten little pieces one by one.but when u do use a straightening protection spray.lol available at sallysit may sound like a lot but i guarantee you it will make your hair look gorgeous! in order to get the perfect hair it takes work.so follow these steps and your on ur way to perfect sleek hair.
