General Information of Ceramic Fiber Blanket

Ceramic fiber blanket is a needled blanket that is made from high purity spun ceramic fiber, suitable for high temperature insulation up to 2300°F.

Ceramic fiber blanket is made from high quality Kao-Ling clay, high purity alumina and silica oxides by spun or blown process.

Ceramic fiber blanket is asbestos free. Double-side needling provides ceramic fiber blanket with great tensile or handing strength for easy installation.

Q:Hey folks, I'm thinking about buying my mom a membership to Yarn of the Month and was wondering how much a quot;samplequot; of yarn actually isThey say each sample is a 4quot; by 4quot; swatchHow much is that? I know nothing about knitting, so is that enough to make a basic dishcloth? Thanks!
No, it's not enough to actually make anythingA small dishcloth would take twice that much yarnThey look like mostly novelty yarns which would not be appropriate for dishcloths eitherWhat I would recommend instead is getting her a gift certificate at her local yarn shopKnitters tend to be passionately opinionated about yarnFor example: I love natural fibers and hate acrylicI like certain colors and color combinationsAnd above all, I want to touch the yarn and see how it feels against my skin before I commit to itWith a gift certificate she can get exactly what she likes and make a project or projects she really enjoysSometimes a gift certificate is a loser gift from someone who didn't care enough to actually choose somethingFor the passionate knitter, the opposite is trueA gift certificate says the giver recognizes that knitting is an art and that selection of the materials and tools is as individual as the artistNow, if she's already a regular at the LYS, they may know herAt my local shop the manager knows her customers and can tell you exactly what to purchase as a gift for that customer from the fiber content and yarn weight right down to the color wayBut she still recommends gift certificates.

How high? if you heat it to its melting point the strength will be reduced 100%, less than the melting point it will depend somewhat on the alloy and original heat treatmentAluminum generally is not too good at high temperatures, so expect a significant loss.
Q:I don't know how big these mice are, or rats maybe, but they've made themselves at home in my atticI see tunnels about as big around as a golf ball maybe even a little bigger through mounds of insulation which have magically appearedAny ideas?

Q:I am opening a small clothing storeHopefully it will not stay small for longI am trying to find clothing designers who would like to get their line into a storeDoes anyone know how to go about doing this?
If you want small independent designers then look in their natural habitatPost a one page flyer in your local fabric, yarn, art, bead and craft storesAlso look for anywhere that's alt or hipster -like a coffee shop or smoothie bar or book store or whateverAsk to post your flyer thereYou don't find fish in a desert -so don't look there, look in a lakeSame with creative people: anyplace that creative people hang out is where you will find themAlso go a to places like Etsy and ArtFire and look for designers on these independent marketplaces who live in your home townContact themSome will be interested, some won'tSome things will be store-worthy, some won'tBe discriminating as far as quality is concerned and you should find a few worthy candidates.
Q:How would someone go about making hemp string by hand?
I'm also a spinner of chiengora aka dog hairI crochet the yarn into scarves, mittens, and hatsThis makes wonderful wearables without the itchiness of sheep's woolI get my fur from a friend who is a dog groomerFor pricing, you might want to compare your goods to homemade woolen goods that are sold in your areaGood luck.
Q:I need to by batt insulation to insulate the floors under my house.I was just wondering where besides Home Depot or Lowes can somebody pick up 1700 ft of batt insulation at a contractors priceI see paint stores, shingle stores and plumbing stores for contractors but I haven't seen an insulation store.any ideas.I live in north Texas.Lowes seems expensive at $59 for 82 sq ft.
Go to your local lumber yards (and anyplace that sells insulation including the home improvement store 'contractor desks') and ask them for a lump sum price for your projectIt helps things if you've already calculated the quantityYou might find a better deal on higher R value insulationespecially if the vendor is overstocked It's surprizing sometimes to see the discounts - other times there isn't anyIt just depends on the product markup/area/competition.

I would say no.on the iron on for the acrylic fleeceIt cannot get deep enough into the fibres to stay on the fabricI know there is fleece fabric with Military printYou may be able to find something that will work, or you will have to cut the letters out and sew them on, either by machine or by hand.
