QTZ63(5610) tower crane is novel hoisting and conveying machinery which is designed by Shandong Fuyou Co., Ltd. by fully utilizing the group technology, the combinational design technology and the finite element analysis technology and taking the tower crane microcomputer design platform as a tool.
The crane is a horizontal-arm-rest trolley-amplitude upper-revolution hydraulic lifting type crane which has the maximum working amplitude of 56m, the independent lifting height of 40m, the adhesion lifting height of 150m, the rated lifting moment of 710kN•m and the maximum lifting moment of 853.2kN•m. All the performance parameters and technical indexes of the crane meet or surpass national standards.
The crane features advanced parameters, excellent and reliable properties, attractive appearance, high quality, simple and practical structures, advanced safety devices, convenient maintenance, safe usage and reasonable prices, and is ideal construction machinery for many construction enterprises.

The lifting boom and balance boom adopt cantilever boom structure, which reduces the hoisting modular and makes it more safe, convenient and flexible to install and uninstall, and reduces the requirements for hoisting equipment and the site.

Q:Just curious... I'm not in construction and always wondered...
The top sections of the mast beneath the crane are removed one at a time and lowered to the ground. The top section of the crane has hydraulic rams that lower it down one mast section at a time. It is hard to describe without a diagram or photos. See photos at attached link. In some design, the jacking portion is at ground level. The crane jacks itself up so a 20' section of the mast can be unbolted and slide out. Then the jack is lowered so the process can be repeated. See second link for photos and a more detailed explanation.

Q:why does the power company use helicopters to service the repair lines instead of trucks with tall cranes?
High-tension lines operate at hundreds of thousands, or millions, of volts. At this potential, electricity can jump through several feet of air to reach a path to ground. I believe they are accidents. Crane collapses happen. I had the dubious distinction of helping with the investigation a crane collapse that left the crane operator in an unrecognizable state. It's awful but these things do happen. Was there negligence in some cases on the part of the crane operator? Maybe.
